What? The 2012 Wedding Industry Awards

When? 18 January 2012

Where? The decadent, ritzy surroundings of wedding-venue-cum-club, Café de Paris, London – think ostentatious red velvet, feathered plumes and gilt-detailed interiors.

Who? The brightest and best wedding industry suppliers came together for a night of celebratory wedding fun in recognition of their talents and hard work over the last year. Guests sipped Prosecco and wines throughout the night and feasted on yummy mini fish and chip portions, Italian-style pizzettas and chicken tikka canapés followed by scrumptious mini chocolate pots and lemon tartlets.

The prestigious judging panel was made up of our very own editor Miranda Eason and the likes of Love My Dress blogger Annabel Beeforth, founder of the Wedding Industry Awards and photographer Damian Bailey, renowned wedding planner Sarah Haywood, British designer Sassi Holford, cake supremo Peggy Porschen, Sandy Moretta from the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners and SKY TV news presenter Sarah Hewson who also hosted the awards on the night.
