12 days to go!!!! Oh dear. I'm excited to walk down the aisle, and I know it will all be lovely. BUT! In the meantime... here comes the rant!

The friend who is making our orders of service is getting on my wick! And my fiance is getting really mad with her, and she's not the sort of person who will take it on the chin and get over it, if he shouts at her she will probably be avoiding him at the wedding and looking all sad, which obviously we don't want. We had a session to make the orders of service the weekend before last (all 175 of them) and we thought we'd be done at the end of the day. It started on a bad note when she hadn't made all of the hearts to go on the cards... she'd only done 23, so we had to do all of those, which is the fiddly part that takes ages. Me and h2b had sat the day after the big session doing all of the hearts that we'd taken off her hands - 89 in total. So why can't she? She's notorious for not getting things done in time, but I can't see how she can avoid doing this when it's for a friend. Anyway. once that was done, other people had arrived to help so we started cutting ribbon etc etc etc. Eventually she had to leave to do a concert, so we all carried on. It had transpired by this point that she hadn't even ordered all of the stuff we needed to complete the orders of service. We ran out of ribbon well before we were done, and everything else ran out shortly after. H2b was getting so cross by this point that he had to leave the room to avoid shouting at her!

I will stop going on in case someone is reading this and getting bored, but basically the short version is that we are STILL waiting for some of the stuff to arrive, and she is saying that she doesnt want me to do any of the stuff next week (and she has it all so i can't just do it) because SHE wants to do it... but can't until next weekend - we get married the weekend after. We're having a massive cleaning session in our venue the weekend she is planning to do it, and thinks we're going to be able to help (and who knows how many people she's planning on pulling out of the cleaning to help her). I just don't know what to do, she's so sensitive about everything I can't tell her how I feel withoug bloody offending her! Sorry, that wasn't really short was it! Has anyone actually fallen out with a friend because they don't get things done in time for the wedding? I can just see the shit hitting the fan this weekend when she's trying to do the orders of service while we're cleaning... my h2b is not someone who minces (sp?!) his words when he's stressed about something!

I need to do so many little things, and I keep reading the forums saying 'what have you done', and people are saying they've only got one things left to do, like buy someone a present, or pick up their dress!! Please tell me there are people out there who have loads of little jobs left to do 12 days before their wedding????

Oh dear, it's just started thundering outside!!
