Subject : I have finally picked my bridesmaid Dress (with pics)

Hi, I'm looking for pink bridesmaid dresses as my colour scheme is pink, ivory and silver. What do you think of the following dresses-

Dress One

Dress Two

I haven't shown my bridesmaids these dresses yet , as I wanted to see these dresses in the flesh myself but no shops have them in yet. I wanted to look for a dress that they could wear again. Neither girl is a pink sort of girl so I hope they like these, if not I'm not sure what other colours I could go for any ideas?

Thank You x

i like the second one it looks alot more like a bridesmaid dress.

My colour theme is black and silver(october wedding) an i tried to get some kind of silver or gunmetal grey dresses but was really hard to find and didn't really want to pay out to getting them made. so i would stick with the pink it will be much easier to get hold of.

x

Thank you, I love the second one too was thinking I could put a butterfly brooch on where the ribbon ties, like this one

Do you think it would be too much though? My theme is butterflies you see.

The second one is from Coast lots of there other dresses are in the sale I wonder if this one will go in the sale soon too.

Controversially I prefer the first one, exactly because it doesn't look like a normal bridesmaid dress!

I think the second one's lovely too, I guess you just go for which one you see yourself wearing, which isn't always very helpful! I would say however that I think the neckline on the first one would be more flattering on most girls than the second, but again that's personal opinion.

Brooch is gorgeous, too!

I love the second one, and think it would be gorgeous with the butterfly brooch, definitely a great choice!

I guess it just comes down to whether the bridesmaids will be happy in a strapless dress, and if you can convince them that pink is good! If they really don't like pale pink, is there a more dusky pink that you could go for? Silver is always an option, and a good choice for them to wear again... :-)

Don't think either girl would mind wearing strapless as they both wear strapless stuff and are slim size 8/10.

Have seen this one from Coast in Dusky Pink from there Couture range but it's £275

Silver would be nice but want something a bit brighter as we're getting married in Cyprus. Thanks for your advice ladies very useful as always. xx
