Subject : Anniversary weight loss.... Sept 09
The first year anniversary is fast approaching and since my wedding last September I have put the stone I lost for the wedding back on, I am determined to lose the stone in time for our anniversary. I used this forum last year a few months before my wedding and we did really well as a group weighing ourselves once a week and helping each other out to reach our target weight. So I've decided to do it again as it really helped me. If anyone wants to join in feel free to join. Im starting tomorrow. I'll post my weight tomorrow. I normally post my weight, what I have eaten in general and what exercise I have done, it is so much easier when you get a group of you doing this. Hope others are interested, maybe even some September 09 brides!!!!!!!

Hey Mrs Fardella - COUNT ME IN!
We are hoping to go on a beach holiday to celebrate our first anniv - First Sunday in September - with 64 days to go... eek! The bikini is looking daunting!
I worked my arse (and boobs) off last year and was 9st 4 on the big day. On Honey moon I troughed for 3 solid weeks - CURSE the buffet Breakfasts and omlette stations! ha ha.
I want to have my toned arms back, my boudoir shoot stomach and be a slightly healthier 9st 7
I gym Mon & Tue , swim Wed & Fri and yoga Thu .... but still sitting the wrong side of 10st at the mo. Argh! I have montly assessments at my gym to kick me up the backside , and right now I am living on Ryvitas.
My hurdles are the Weekends, Hubby is a trained chef (argh!!) and booze! He is away for a week soon, and I lose weight as I don't/can't cook so can happily eat ryvita, soup and noodles. Like I did when I was a student .... a skinny student!
I'm in my early 30s and it's getting harder with age to keep the love handles at bay, and I only have about 10lbs to lose now.
Hopefully we can encourage each other and many more as the weeks go by.
Charley

Wow.... someone to keep me motiated!!!!! Just what I need!!!!! I had a really good week last week, I went to the gym twice, went for a run and played volleyball, however, it was hubby's birthday this weeknd and we had a BBQ, lots of food and drink........ will get back on track tomorrow. I havents weighed myself for so long now as I dont want to see the bad news. I lost a stone fr my wedding and was about 10st 2lbs, I am 5ft 8 and this was a really good weight for me, I think I am now about 11st 2lbs, so I've got a stone to go. I will weight myself tomorrow and put up the figures. I go on holiday on the 12th of September so I have just under 14 weeks, a lbs a week should do the trick. As with you I want to tone up my arms and bum and loose my excess weight off my stomach..... No time for gym tomorrow so will go for a run, and will eat healthly all week, will fit the gym in about three times, I will also do some work at home on the Wii Fit to keep things ticking over. However I am away at Chester Races this weekend as a birthday treat for the hubby, so the weekend will be lots more food and drink........ need to loose the weight though...... come on must be strong, were looking at startng a fmaily soon to, so need to get fit for that!!!!!!! Im sure we can help each other other out to look great for our 1st anniversary.
Will post again tomorrow.

Right first weigh in today. I was 11st 2lb. Ideally I would love to get down to 10st for my holidays which takes in my first anniversary. I am in work today so I've been out this morning with the dog on a two hours mountain walk, which is really hard work. I am off to the gym tomorrow and today I've eaten some cereal for breakfast and I taking a lovely salad into work with a load of fruit. Feeling better already!!!!!
Hope some others want to join us..... this site really helps me keep motivated..... hopefully will be one stone lighter in ten weeks..... fingers crossed, going to work hard in the gym tomorrow. Speak to you soon, will weigh myslef again next Monday, hoping for a two pound loss!!!!!!

Hiya MF
Wow - exercising so early! Well done you!
Well the weekend was a bit saint and sinner as we drank lots - but ate only picnic food and plenty of salad stuff both Saturday and Sunday.
Knowing I had to counterbalance the beers and vino I went for an 11am swim on Sunday morning. Felt quite virtuous and did 30 lengths in 22 mins.
On Friday I smashed my PB and did 30 lengths of Breaststroke in 20mins.
I will admit my diet is a bit ropey as I skip Breakfast- the first sin, and I rarely have lunch too - busy at work, etc etc. But I have been doing this since I was 18 so my body is used to it - and I don't feel peckish until the car ride home.
Weekends it's cereals ahoy as I have the time to eat and relax and enjoy it .
So tonight I am going straight to the gym after work where I will do 45 mins of cardio, followed by 15 mins of weights. Then I have the dreaded assessment .... on June 1st I was 10st 4 ... and going in the right direction measurment wise.
My arms, abs, waist, hips and thighs are measured, along with BMI, body fat levels, etc ...
so hopefully I will be able to see what progress I have made in a month. Been an up and down month with weekend away with girls, a wedding, and lots of BBQs .....
Just hope I am closer to 10st as with 9 weeks to go it would be great to get 1-2 lbs off per week like you say. Baby steps are doable!
Tonights dinner - will depend on the results of the weigh and with hubby out it's a fend forself night with soups and salad .....
I'll keep you posted ....

OK - so here goes.
The assessment had + & - moments.
The minuses -
My Body fat increased by 3%
Body Fat weigh up 2%
My Hydration is down 3%
Abs up by 1 inch
Hips up by 1 inch
The pluses
BMI is down by .4
Arms are still the same
Waist lost 1 inch
Thighs lost 1.5 inch
Bust lost .5 inch
I have also lost 3lbs which is **** if I am honest - but with every weekend being full of weekend breaks, weddings, BBQs and parties in June - it was expected.
So after 5 ryvitas (piled high with yumminess) the real 9 weeks of hard work start right now!
Tomorrow it's more Gym and More Weights. I am trying to feel motivated and will now stick tonights chart on the fridge to remind me that "Fridge Pickers Wear Big Knickers" lol. xx

Well managed to get to the gym yesterday before work, did a 30 minute run and some leg work, as they are my main problem area, I've eaten mostly healthy, salad, weight watchers meal for tea and some fruit, drank lots of water, so hopeing to see some results soon....... I may weight myself on Friday as I am in for a bad weekend at the races!!!!!!!!!! Having a day off exercise today but will be back at the gym tomorrow for some more hard work........ im sure we can manage one or two pounds a week!!!!!!!!!!
Keep working hard, i'll let you know how i get on at the gym tomorrow.

Can I join??
My 2nd anniversary is on the 15th and we are going to have our wedding rings blessed by the priest who married us. We lost them when we were putting suncream on!
We have moved away so are having a very romantic two night break having the rings blessed, will be very exciting being in the church again on the same day, we are also going to Jamie's fifteen and out to watch Oliver the musical.
I have put on a stone and a half since and cannot get my dress on so you girls have inspired me!
Love Mrs MH xxx

Hi Mrs Hunibee and Mrs Fardella
You can indeed join us.
Your ring blessing and weekend sound fab.
Be warned you may put on some lbs at Fifteen.
We love it there. All in the name of romance so doesn't count. ha ha
Well it was gym last night after work and my 8-9 swim session this evening. This seems to be helping the thighs and arms.
Strangely I can feel closer to the 10st mark now... but not weighing self until Friday... as that will indicate how good/bad I can be over the weekend. he he - just like getting my bank statement text to me on a Friday morning! LOL.
Mrs H - do you have a top tip or regime you follow that work(s) / ed/ ing?
xx

I had a day off yesterday, but still ate well, not eaten any bread or crisps since I started on Monday, which for me is a real achievement as all I eat normally is crisps and bread!!!!!! Off to meet the hubby at the gym tonight and then we wre off to Chester for a weekend at the races..... so I am going to weigh myslef tomorrow, so how well I have done before I go and ruin it over the weekend, going to try to avoid beer and wine, will try to stick to Vodka as apparantly it is less fattening...... I've been away with work for four weeks so we are going to enjoy this weekend away, so I am not going to worry about being too healthy!!!!! I'll post my weight tomorrow, fingers crossed for two pound!!!!!!!
Hope all is going well with you both........
