Subject : Songs to get people dancing

Hi All,

We've asked guests to give us a song that will get them up dancing at the evening do. So just wondered what your suggestions would be!

One song that would definitely make you jump out of your seat & boogie!!

I read somewhere on this thread that the bride and groom asked guests to list their favourite three songs to get them on the dancefloor on the RSVP cards and then compiled a list using them - thought that was a great idea (one i plan to steal!) as then everyone should have at least one or two songs that they will definitely get up for! x

I love eighties tunes! My wedding is a year away, I booked the Dj last month and he asked is there anything in particular you would like...........he will regret saying that. I have a list of songs to give him, I'm trying to keep it short, so far I have sixteen and feel I cant shorten the list:roll:
Although my H2B has objected to a few:\( I thot he just had to turn up Smile

Alphabeat - Fascination
The B52's - Loveshack
Billy Ocean - Going gets tough
Bryan Adams - Cant stop this thing we started
Depeche Mode - Just cant get enough
Enrigue Iglesais - Hero
Eurythimics - Right by your side
Girls Aloud - Jump
Kenny Loggins - Footloose
Kylie - Wow
Lionel Richie - All night long
Funkytown - Lipps
Phil Collins - Sussudio
Scissor Sisters - Dont feel like dancin
Starship - Nothings gonna stop us now
Wet wet wet - Sweet little mystery

Im trying to take advantage that its my wedding so I can pick the songs but Im trying pick ones that are upbeat but that you dont usually get at parties!
