Subject : 2011 Student brides!
Hiya!
I just wondered if there are any other brides to be that are studying at the moment?
I am a mature (27) student and in my final year (thankfully), hence why we are waiting until 2011 to get married.
Are there any other brides to be in a similar situation? I think this might be a good place to have a moan/whinge about how stressful uni life can be at times and how we have our beautiful wedding days to look forward to!!

I'm in the same situation. I'm going into my second year (I'm 20, 21 at the end of the month) I had 6 months off uni this last 6 months as I hated my old uni. Looking forward to the new one though.
We're getting married late summer 2011, once I've graduated. I'm hoping to do a masters afterwards, we'd initially planned Nov 2011, but if I'm on a masters course we wouldn't be able to go on our honeymoon straight afterwards so brought it forward a little.

I am just starting Uni this year as mature student (25) and we are planning on getting married 2011, so I will be just about to go into my final year. a bit crazy, but my friend from the states did the same thing and she has had a perfect 1st year of marriage and last year of Uni. My H2B is also starting Uni too - we were both bored and needed a career change. so we will both be students, planning on getting married abroad.

Hi ladies
I am also in the same situation, I am just about to go into my final year at uni (studying part time), so figured 2011 is perfect as it gives me time after my exams in May to plan it all.
We are getting married in Feb, so going for a wintery wedding, I'm very excited!!
I'll have the first winge - I'm supposed to go back to uni this Friday but I cant cause I've had a stoopid operation on my foot so the docs wont let me back to work, and work wont let me back to uni, so I'm stressed!
RANT OVER xx

Great... Glad I'm not the only one!! What are we all studying? I'm in my final year of my nursing degree and its getting harder!! Just been given a nice big, fat assignment and a debate : ( Already in my 3rd week back... Summer holidays just weren't long enough!! Do you all work as well?
I also transferred uni's Mrs Jones... I moved from London to Sheffield half way through and the teaching is a lot better.
Sharpys wife, I think you'll manage just fine... We're waiting partly because I really want to enjoy planning our wedding without the stress of uni/working/visiting my family as much as possible, we also want to save as much as we can!! Our parents are both being really generous but we want to have the little extras!!
Stevens, hope your on the mend : ) that wintery wedding will be amazing... I wanted winter but Mr A wanted summer so we compromised on spring!!

I've actually graduated but am hoping to be going back this time next year to do teacher training and h2b is starting his undergrad this time so I will have just finished my whole course and he will be a couple of years in when we get married. That's the reason for getting married in July so neither of us will have exams to worry about :)

I'm doing mathematics. Please don't groan, everyone else does when they ask me what I'm studying.
I moved from Leeds to Birmingham. Looking forward to it this time.
I wanted a winter wedding, h2b wanted a Spring wedding and somehow ended up choosing so decided on late summer instead... don't ask the logic... we dont know why either.

I'm going into my final year at uni in a few weeks, doing mental health nursing.
Figured by going for 2011, we had a year of my wage as a nurse to contribute as we could not afford the wedding we want on an NHS bursery lol. This wedding planning lark is a welcome distraction to studying, however I do tend to get lost in wedding land and the studying ends up taking a back seat x
