Hi Everyone,

We've got our wedding booked for March 2011 in Newcastle Upon Tyne and I am getting so confused about wedding photographers and who is good and where to find them! I've met a couple and seen looooaaads of them online but none are really jumping out at me (none that are in our budget anyway!!)

Any ideas??

Not sure what your budget is but I've been impressed with 2tone (although have gone with someone else but they're more expensive and not in the North East). Think they're about 2k but reasonable for what you get. Am sure you might be able to work a deal - think they allow you to delay the album and things until you've got all your wedding money gifts

Two tone were booked for our date, so we ended up looking further and ended up with our photographer who is totally fabulous but more expensive. We went with Curve Photography who are travelling to our wedding. Def like two tone creative tho.

They came highly recommeded to us by a number of sources! Their work is absolutely amazing and they arent too expensive.

Does anyone know of any decent photographers that dont cost as much as 1k? Its way to expensive for us and i know you can get better for less just not in the NE as far as i know. Can anyone help?

Weve booked Mandy Charlton, for £640 we're getting - free pre wedding photoshoot (special offer dont think she always includes this), 5 hours on-day coverage with 2 photogs, and all our photos high res on CD. We didnt want to pay for an over priced album when there's really good websites like www.blurb.com for making our own. Oh yeah also Mandy's going to throw in some free prints if we pay our balance on time. Her style is really great check out the website: www.mandycharltonphotography.com.

Hi im getting married at dissington aswell in april 2011 our photographer is alan fowler, he has a webpage just type his name into google
we had a photo shoot with him in november he was lovely and we got some fantastic shots. we are paying 800 for him and his wife for the day and all our images on cd.
