Subject : Songs to Walk down the Aisle

We are having a civil cermony at Llancaich Fawr Manor House. I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions as to what music I could use to walk sown the Aisle..I was thinking of the gladiator theme tune 'Now we are free' as I was considering a Roman theme and I love the piece of music...any suggestions please? :-)

I walked down the aisle to nina simones feeling good, hubby said the song reminded him of me, sexy and sassy!!!!

Now we are free is a beauiful piece of music, hubby loves it and I think if your having a roman theme it would fit in perfectly...

Have you tried the soundtrack for the film, or maybe soundtracks from similar films, there might be soething on them...

I thought I'd made a decision but have changed my mind! I'm having Nick Lachey-This I Swear, Lonestar-Amazed, Oasis-She is Love, All You need is love (dont know who its by but its sung by the gospel choir at the wedding in Love actually), Snow Patrol-Chasing Cars and Sugababes-Too Lost in You for before we arrive, walking down the aisle, signing the register and leaving but not sure what for which yet!!! But am standing firm on having Maroon 5 -She Will be Loved for our 1st dance!

I'm having a piece of music from mission impossible - not as scary and action packed as it sounds - its from the end of the film and it's beautiful! Think its violins but it's a really dramatic bit which would be great for the entrance of the bride and a great finish too. you can get it from missionimpossible soundtrack CD. Not sure about rest of ceremony - told we need 4 tracks - 1 for guests being seated, 1 for me going down the aisle, 1 for signing register and 1 for leaving. Does that sound the same for most people?

Cazinge,

i want 'All you need is love' too by that Gospel Choir. I have searched everywhere and can't find it.
Do you know who it is by yet?
It isn't on Love Actually's soundtrack ???

Lynden David Hall's the guy who starts singing it. It's on the Love Actually OST album.
Hope this helps!

We are having Angeli by Sasha Lazard from the film Kissed by an Angel and on leaving Everything I do I do it for you sung by Katherine Jenkins. They are both on YouTube.

Hi all - getting CP'd at the Miskin Manor in South Wales on May 11th - we are having "Happy Together" by The Turtles for the entrance song, then Dian Ross "I Will" for our signing - this is originally a Paul Mcartney song but sung by Diana is amazing, then at the end we have "It's Getting Better" by the Mama's and The Papas.............x

I'm walking up the aisle to Elvis: I Can't Help Falling in Love...and we're walking down the aisle (after we're married) to the Beatles: All You Need is Love.

I'm entering to 'I can't help falling in Love' too but I'm using the darren hayes version as I totally love it and our first dance is a song by him too, so it ties in. Signing register to Amazed, Your Song & 'I'll Always be Right There' by Bryan adams, then exiting to Greatest day by Take That. We have string versions of some other songs for the arrival of the guests beforehand :-)
