Thought I had my heart set on a Hollywood Dreams gown but has anyone else seen the new Sophia Tolli collection? The dresses are so beautiful have now tried a few on and think its definitely going to be either Alexandra or Carmella... anyone else having Sophia Tolli??

I am getting married in 2009 as well, and I have just recently ordered my Sophia Tolli Alexandra dress, although it was called Jordan in the shop!

I know exactly what you mean about the style!!
Have you tried both of them on?
They fit like a dream!

Since I posted the above I actually ordered my dress at the weekend and went for Carmella, I'm so in love with it! Went for it in silver too.

Alexandra is gorgeous also came a close 2nd.

Just had a look at carmella, it is stunning and you are so right to go with the colour you have chosen!
I love all the 'bling' on it.

I wish I had the budget to buy loads and wear one an hour on the big day! Loving her work!
I have saved the website and am a bit obsessive as I look at my dress most days!

thanks, i love it, ive got longer than you to wait, its june next year
i was realy lucky as that is the sample dress, and it fits wonderful, so only need taking in slightly round the bust and shortening. have you got a pic of yours?

im finding it hard with accesories, coz you havnt got the dress there you have to try to imagine it then go with it when youve bought it to c if it works. but i think thats jus me being a bit fussy lol

I'm on the hunt for a fabulous pair of silver shoes! And I need a veil, tiara, earrings and necklace... underwear as well!

I might just look for now but its keeping me entertained.

lol, have u tried ebay, theres some fantastic shoes on there. im so fussy about shoes due to hip probs i cant find the exact pair i want but its early days yet, plenty time to drive everyone bonkers lol

No haven't tried ebay for my shoes, don't get me wrong I love ebay for most things but I want brand new wedding shoes! And ideally designer ones... not sure if I'll get them though!

check ebay, they have brand new shoes and designers too. jus look and if you dnt like wot u see u can always say "wel i tried" lol

Yeah I will do before I buy anything. I got loads of great stuff on ebay for my invites, handmade butterflies and table decorations. I got my save the date cards on there too!

When I put on my ST dress and knew it was the one I asked the lady in the shop about accessories. She was very helpful.
She suggested something minimal, for a necklace like a single diamond, possible teardrop shapped.
You could always go back to the shop and ask, you may even get to try it on again, which would make it easy to accessorise. Any excuse to wear it again eh?

As for shoes, I bought mine from Barrats this morning! £35!!
My wedding is on the 30th May 2009.
Buying all this so early but the way i think of it is that I may as well get it when I see it then its done.
Gonna have to shed out loads nest year anyway so may as well start now!
Plus the fact I love shopping.
Where are you getting Married?
