Hi Kels,

Morley hayes is lovely my friend got married there and it was beautiful they got married at christmas and it snowed it couldn't have been any more perfect! are you in the conservatory bit?
We're getting married 23rd may 09 at Breadsall Priory it was between morley and breadsall but as our friends did morely we thought we'ed be a bit different!
I booked the florist flowers by joy, she's fab she's done 3 weddings i've known recently and they have all been beautiful and she's very reasonable i booked her at the assembly rooms and she was doing mates rates so got a really good deal. If your not scared of being bossed around and told how it is she the woman!!!
we're going to breadsalls wedding fair today hopefully book the cake and look at more photographers thanks for sbunney i'll give him a nosey.
what colour theme you havin?

Hi Rach...well congrats... cant believe i still havent met anyone i know who is getting married after me...seems im the last to get married...hopefully might get some useful cast offs ...lol...

hey thanks for the reminder about breadsall...might have a ride out in a bit...not been a fayre in ages...went to one every week in sept/oct....lol..

Breadsall is lovely... like you..you have to think before you book anywhere ...have you been to a wedding there before etc...my BIL used to work there for years and his dad still does..so thats why Breadsall wasnt an option... but i been there many times and its lovely...

we get married in the room above the conservatory sacheverelle..... then we have our breakfast and night do in the pavillion...only room big enough and really bright....
my theme is pink and sparkly.... hopefully will be having a pink dress.. just bought my jewellery and cant believe the stones are a perfect pink to the colour pink i have in mind for my dress....

might check joy out....im not a big flowers person as ive always not seen the point of spending stacks of money on things that die...but like everything else... i think..what the heck..its the best day of my life and shell out the cash... i was gonna have a cheap marks and sparks cake...but then i saw a great pink one... £350...but thought...what the heck..i like it... see i dont like cake..but if its pink ..then its a winner...lol..

i had a make up trial a few weeks ago... beauty by laura...she was good..thinking of booking her...need to find someone to do hair now...as i know what a nightmare that can be....

so have you booked anything else...

kels.x

ps...gonna go get ready to go to wedding fayre...lol

Hi Kels,
Did ya manage to get to breasall, i've booked my cake today yeah! if you went you will have seen it the big one with the swirls and strawberrys on from chocart the cake is lovely and as we are both chocoholics it cant get any better!!!
I had a look at photographers and i really like those story books they do they are really different but also quite pricey but i suppose they are the things that stay with you for ever. Just sat down to work out budgets to make sure we're not gettin carried away with ourselves and well whats another couple of hundred in the grand scheme of things hee hee!!! Ouch!!
I haven't even thought of make up or hair that quite scary!! wouldn't even know where to look??

Just thought I'd mention that the photorapher that did our wedding in Leicestershire is Nottingham based. He was fantastic, mainly reportage style which we wanted and he definately captured the spirit of the day rather than just lots of posed pics. He also stayed through til late in the evening so we've got our evening do captured professionally too.

The website is www.eyephoto.co.uk our pics are Sally & James, though there are just 80 of the over 600 that he took and we now have to get down to 100! How????

Oh thanks, I love my pics, don't know how I'll narrow it down to 100 (he took over 600 on the day!!) They were recommended by our venue and he was quite competitve cost wise with others we saw and he was very relaxed when we meet him.

Good luck enjoy the planning!
Sal

PS - if you do go with them drop me a mention, maybe I'll get a free print!! ;\)
