Good Morning all Yorkshire Brides to be!

Would love to hear who you are using/have hired for your wedding?

When is it?
Where are you holding your wedding?
What cars are you having if any?
Which photographer?

Can you share any good or bad experiences of places or people you have dealt with so far?

This would be a big help for me as I'm sure it would for all you other Yorkshire B2B's!!!

Also do I have a date twin? I get married on 27th June???

When is it? 10/10/09 (after 10 years together - so kind of 10-10-10)
Where are you holding your wedding? Wentbridge House, near Ponte, we're from Leeds so not too far! Ceremony at St Johns Church just behind the hotel
What cars are you having if any? Rolls Royce Silver Cloud
Which photographer? The only one I would trust, I'm a wedding photographer myself, and would only trust my old college lecturer Dervyn Sherrif an amazing photographer of 15 years.

How much organizing have you done so far, where are you getting married?

Hi, I'm getting married in April at the Crab Manor hotel (www.crabandlobster.co.uk) in North Yorks. Photographer is Mark Raffan at Riff Raff Photography, he's really nice. We also went to see Javan Liam in Harrogate and I know Andrea Barrett in Leeds is fab.

I have done most of the planning in my head but it doesn't feel like I have much booked at the moment.

I am from south yorkshire so am getting married at Wentworth Church followed by a reception at Brooklands Hotel.
I am really struggling with finding a car at the moment and have been trying to choose a photographer for ages! I fell in love with one but unfortunately she isn't working at all in 2009 due to some family commitments...I have finally found one that I think I am happy with so now need to make an appointment to go and see him before he is totally booked up! Must be great to be able to book someone you have total faith in!
I guess the next job is to find me a dress!!! Ahhh the fun bit begins!

We're getting married on the 16/7/09. Ceremony at St Michael's church near Wakefield, followed by reception and evening do at Walton Hall. Don't know about cars and photographer yet as we keep changing our minds.

I'm stugglin with a band at the moment does anyone know of any good ones in Yorkshire? Innerversion, I've done a few weddings at Walton Hall, its so beautiful there, I love the fact that its on the lake, are you having your reception in the new bit or old bit? x

Always undecided, I meant to say I've heard good things about Hinchcliffe's in Barnsley, I don't know if you've considred them?

Leanne_S2B-we're having the entire day in the mansion, the reception is in the big room on the first floor, and then the night do is in the bottom room with the outside terrace leading onto the lake. All the guests are then staying there overnight.

We just got engaged at new year and hoping to get married in north yorks but havent decided where yet! need a good location for a marquee, we've looked at the abbeys but need somewhere low budget if possible, gonna try for May 1st 2009 though so any good ideas would be helpful! thanks
