Just wondering if anybody else is marrying their toyboy? My H2B will be 29 (30 the month after we wed), and i will be 37. Also, im wearing a white dress, i just though WHY NOT, its my first weddinf hee hee!!

Hi - h2b is my toyboy too. He's 2 hours younger than me!!!
We have the same birthday.
Does this count?? LOL

Yeah of course it counts, im investing in every lotion and potion hoping the age difference wont be TOO obvious on our wedding day!! Nothing's working

LOL@oldbird!!! my h2b is 33 and ill be nearly 38 when we wed!!! Never thought of him as a toy boy before!!!!

OMG not much hope for me then - i'm 42.

Mind you, all of our friends say I have "worn" better than h2b. Bless him!

I'll be 46 when we get married and h2b will be 42.

I honestly never think about an age gap between us though.

99% of the time I'm the biggest kid in this relationship ha ha x

Its the same with us, H2B's the mature sensible one, age is just a number eh LOL - or so i keep telling myself xx

God don't tell me that senile dementia sets in at 37......if that's the case what the hell do I have????????????????

I had a botox facial the other day, and although I really loved the pampering part as she came to the house, I look no different.............h2b said my face looked brighter, shinnier...and I had to say to him, yeah that's all the moistureiser (crap spelling) I have on....felt so greasy..

I'm just going for loads of pampering sessions now before the wedding, won't make me look any younger but really good to just take time out for yourselves x

What did the botox facial entail? I've been going for microdermabrasion treatments every 3 weeks, apparently it's meant to reduce fine lines etc, still waiting for the results. But as you say, its nice to take time out etc. When's your big day?

The botox facial is massaging beforehand then a botox mask over your face for about 20mins. I think it's the same as anything unless you have repeated ones you won't see a difference. I'm going to have another one done in about 4 wks. More relaxing than anything else.
The lady who is doing it comes to the house. She is also the lady doing my make up on the day. I've invited her to the Evening reception as she just lives on the hotel grounds so she is going to top up my make up for the evening.

I'm getting married on 7th June so less than 8 wks to go now..........

that sounds lovely, may look into that. Good idea on inviting the make up person to your reception. I usually carry a huge handbag with me, full of make up, perfume, deoderant etc etc, everything but the kitchen sink, i was thinking that today - where shall i put all my make up n stuff, good think is i have 4 bridesmaids and a flower girl, so will maybe split all my goodies up and put rucksacks on them for going down the aisle heh heh.

OMG 8 weeks to go, are you organised / excited / nervous. Have you been married before?

I get married on Sunday 28 September, bout 24 weeks i think.

Brilliant idea to invite make up lady, also got my hairdresser travelling from Falkirk and she will be at the wedding all day, so she is also going to sort my hair out for my for the night tiem too.

Dead nervous, just want the day over with to be honest.

Dead excited to be marrying the man I love though.

This will be my 3rd and last wedding and h2b's 2nd and last.

I have all the dresses sorted, the groomsmen sorted. Doing a mock of my tables tomorrow. Think I have music sorted.
Until I have all the rsvp's back (26th April) haven't sorted out the menu or buffet details.

Biggest problem is with mil2b...............she phoned the other day to say she had been sorting out the table plan......I had to say to her no....that is our job................just another thing she is taking the huff with.
