i am currently planning my wedding which althou is not a confirmed date we are aiming for 11/02/2012...its all a bit confusing at the minute with so much to do and i'd love to have someone to talk to about the wedding

we've found our venue but due to it being in football season we cant book till next years fixtures come out in june..decided on a brown/purple theme as my engagement ring came from Beaverbrooks..chosen bridesmaid dresses,jewellery,my tiara,shoes..erm

I got married last year in Castle Donington and lots of my suppliers were from Derby so let me know if you need any recommendations and what for.

I am Derby born and bred. Ours should be September this year, i havent even sorted the venue yet!! Its going to be a very small wedding, 20-25 guests.

Me and the H2b are Derby born and bred too!! Booked most things, you must try to get to some of the wedding fayres, I found the Roundhouse at pride park the best one. There's also a fantastic price for a wedding package at Hallmark Hotel in Midland Road at the minute, not been there myself but heard its nice. Happy planning

bellington, have you thought about The Mill Wheel at Hartshorne, its a lovely restaurant with fresh food with rooms available to stay over, we go about 3 times a year and would deff recommend, in fact if my party wasnt so big i'd have gone there myself!

dumplingmix, we went to the pride park wedding fayre and planning on going to the national one in march at nec, i like Cakey Wakey, anyone used these?? My dress is Sassi Holford, though ive not put a deposit down yet

its coming together slowly, one thing thats bugging me at the min is the theme..got brown/purple colours but theme isnt coming to me
