Hi everyone!!

Im new to the site. Just wondering if anyone has been to a wedding or got married in The Balmoral Hotel in Warrrenpoint.
I really love it, but haven't heard of anyone getting married or having their reception there.

Would love to hear some feedback?

I am getting married there in October this year. I was not fussed on the place at first but went in one day when there was a wedding on and it was lovely.
It is one of the cheaper places and has nearly everything included in the price.
Have you seen it done up for a wedding?
Also the food has been taken over in the past few years by restaraunt 24 and they are fantastic.
The guy I am dealing with is so helpful and I think if I asked him to jump up and down all day he would

Ok so I thought I would update this as I am now married.

I would RECOMMEND THE BALMORAL 150%!!!!

They were absolutly fantastic. The food was to die for and everyone is still talking about it. We got to offer our guests a beef, turkey and ham, seabass and veggie option all on the day. There was 2nds of everything so many people who ordered the beef then tried some seabass (obviously this may not happen all of the time) but it was really outstanding food for a wedding (or a resauraunt for that matter).
Neil, the wedding co-ordinator was so particular about every detail. I left round all the stuff for my sweet buffet the night before and the other girl in charge, Donna took details of how I wanted it set up and did it all for me the following morning.
The room was beautiful, far better than I had thought it could be.
Unfortunately we had a death in the family two days before the wedding (hubbys uncle) and they were fantastic at re-arranging things. They did our table plans again and a few other things that had to be done.

I am in the middle of doing a wedding report so when its done the will be some pictures of the hotel if you want to take a look.

Hope this helps

Hi there.

Thanks so much for posting.
Just over a year to go for me and I am super excited now to hear how lovely your wedding sounds. My co-ordinater is Donna and so far so good.
Would love to see your photos of the room done up. Have never seen it done up for a wedding, just been at their 2 bridal fayres.
I have heard that the food is top class and you have just confirmed that for me.

Congratulations on your wedding. Hope you are enjoying married life!!!

When you get the photos really would be great to see them.

And thanks again.
