Wedding dresses from China

Hi all,
I'm new to these forums and apologise if this has gone in the wrong place..not sure what i'm doing!
I live in Spain and having a complete nightmare finding a dress for my October wedding.
I've been looking on myeddingdressforless and milly bridal.com sites but dubious they are genuine and the dress won't arrive and i lose the money. Their own site has testimonials on there but are they put there by the Company or are they genuine.
I have looked at a couple of forums but like i say, first time i've done this kind of thing so not sure i'm looking in right places.
Has anyone ordered a dress from China......any feedback you could give me would be much appreciated...Thanks

I'm so so sorry to hear that!I also ordered my wedding dress from a website in china.I know this millybridal.com too! Because I have done a lot of searching on google before I made my decision.It'seems a lot of people have posted the same comments as you did.So,I didn't chose them,I chose a website which look more professional.It's Goodgoodschina.com.And until now, my purchasing goes really pleasant.They reply for my questions promptly,and what a good news,my dress is going to be finished.I'll let you know if I see the photos of my dress!Good Luck!

well I ordered my dress thru a shop, but it still came from China. I don't see why you would have a problem just because you where doing it yourself.

I had an awful experience so naturally would say to avoid!

Not a wedding dress, but my friend bought a lovely dress from China (via ebay), she was worried it wouldnt arrive in time for the event so she also bought one from the UK lol, she got both and the one from China was fantastic quality and a great price. Personally, I never take the risk, but thats just me lol

My dress is from China via alibaba.com. They have a buyer protection scheme like ebay, so you have to say you're happy with the dress before they release the payment to seller.
