im getting married next year august the 4th,any other ladies getting married then?

dont know when is good time to start dress hunting!!!

I am August 4th 2012. Can't wait, still so far away.
So far I have got:

Ceremony Venue
Reception Venue
Photographer
Chocolate Fountain
Designed cakes for my Aunt to make. (She does it for a living.)
My grandad will be sorting my transport as he has a Rolls Royce.
I got my dress in April, couldn't wait any longer. Benjamin Roberts 2058a in white.
Got my tiara and all my jewellery and my shoes as well.

Now need to turn attention to flowers, bridesmaid dresses and lots of saving!!

Which part of the country are you getting married in?

Hi Im 4 aug 2012 I hav org church rec venue . My dress is ordered hav just bought two BM dresses today . Younger ones will come later . Sis is making cake . BIL is doing photography .... We were getting married June 2012 in Cyprus but had to cancel as in laws nit well enoughj to fly do organizing a much bigger wedding now n it's scary !!! I'm in Medway kent by way xx HELLO ALL AUG 4 2010 BRIDES !!!!

I think it's for the best Rose. Hehe. Though truthfully, I wish I was as organised and as artistic!

We've sorted:
Venue- everything is included in price chair covers/centre pieces etc. So that's a huge weight of my mind!
Church
Photographer
Singers
Cake- made by my friend
Flowers
Hairdresser- my friend

We've chosen the stationary and just waiting for the invoice to book- there was an offer on until the end of June, so taking advantage!

I've not been able to find a dress yet, but still plenty of time to look- hopefully i'll find one in the next couple of months x

I'm 4th August. You girls are all super organised!
We've sorted:
Church and reception
Booked wedding car
Chosen bridesmaid dresses and bought one of 3 (hunting ebay!)

I'm meeting the florist with my mum on Thursday but the photographer we thought we had, unfortunately fell through.
Can anyone recommend someone in the Berkshire area?

Ooh! I just remembered: my friend is making the cake, my dad is making the favours (sloe gin) and my mother in law to be is making the flower girl's dress! Phew!

Hiya! I'm 4th August too

We only got engaged 2 months ago so I have so much to organise still!

So far, I've organised:-

-Ceremony & Reception Venue
- My dress (Dayton by 'Blue by Enzoani')- any dress twins? , shoes, jewellery (making my own)
- Bridesmaid dresses (being shipped over from US)

Meeting with florist in two weeks' time and meeting with photographer next week.

Still have to organise:-
- Transport
- Fireworks
- Entertainment (Live band/DJ?)
- Decide on venue styling
- Decide on veil or bandeau style veil
- Wedding stationary ('save the dates', 'invitations', guest book') etc
- Research heairstylists/ make up artists
- Groom and Groomsmen outfits
- Cake
- String Quartet

The list seems very daunting
