Hi ya,

i've booked them for my wedding next year before i joined this site a few weeks back.

They have had some good and bad reviews, some of which have been down to organising things etc.

I am very specific in what i want and need to I have been getting everything confirmed via e-mail and will have somebody bossing them around in the morning to make sure everything is perfect!

my planners seems lovely and very helpful.. however I am a PA/Events planner by day so i'm not too worried about the planning side of stuff!

what side did you look at? the barn of mansion house?

we had katie to start with but not heard from her for a a week or 2!

we have having mansion house 2, still deciding on what rooms to use for the dinner/dancing.

my wedding is 10/11/12.

i've already got a florist and photographer who have both been fab so far so let me know if you get stuck with anything!

i'm still not sure about food, we wants something hearty like sausage and mash for the dinner. The chef at theobalds has recently changed so once he has re done the menus we are going to have a chat with him.

when is your wedding?

nice to speak to somebody who is using the same venue!!

i've heard that katie is surpose to be really good!thats who i want lol.

our date is 30th june 2012 think its going to come extremely quickly!we've already got our photographer sorted and our cake is with 'we want cake' who is based in cheshunt.we had a quote from one of there suppliers for venue dressing but not sure about it!

not sure what we're going to have for food as yet,bit picky when it comes to food being cooked how i like it lol

did you look at the barn side of it too?? thats the part that we thought we would go for but then changed our mind completely think you get more for your money in the mansion side of it.

i'm looking for someone to do hair and make-up,if you know of anyone can you let me know,we live in hemel and don't really want to pay petrol expenses if i can help it!!

nice to know someone else is having there wedding there too

yeah, she has been really helpful so far! you could always request katie?!

I was going to use we want cake but they came out quite expensive.... compared to another quote i got. still undecided though.

defo get more for your money in mansion house, you get moved in and out of 1 room at the barn which isn't what i wanted on my day... it flows nicely in the mansion house.

Are you going to try and use the tree house? i am going to even if it means brollys and wellies!!

How much was your venue dressing and who was it with? The curtains in some of the rooms are bloody awful.. I will defo have to get them covered!!!

I got a card for wiggies salon but I have emailed/text them twice and heard nothing so I'm not going to keep chasing somebody if they don't want my business!! will let you know i find anyone, i have a few friends that can defo do make up and they do it fab but not hair!

definatly agree with you on some of the curtains, they are quite hidious lol!!the quote was from daisys it included flowers, table decs, chair covers and sashes, stair case and a few other things quote came in at just over 950,i nearly fell off my chair lol!!i surpose when you break it down its probably about right.they are including all my glass bowls for my sweetie table free so i surpose i'm going to save there.we're not putting and favours on the tables for anyone just doing a sweetie table for the evening

need to have a look about for make-up and hair people just don't want to pay a fortune!!

Ahh that a good quote to be honest..! I am hoping to have a sweety table to but I will end up with having the children (and adults) bouncing off walls!!

i'm not doing favours as it seems quite old fashioned to put them on the tables these days !!
