I put the deposit down on my sophia tolli allanah dress a month ago but am now having 2nd thoughts about it. The fit and shape is fantastic and really suits me but I'm just not sure about the lace. What do you all think? Am thinking that I should have got it in the satin instead.

Sorry but I don't .know how to upload a photo on here

Maybe I am!!! I haven't ordered it yet but I am pretty sure it is the one for me. I was adamant I wasn't going to have lace so I didn't try any on. In the 6th shop I saw one and thought I would give it a go, and just got that feeling that it was my dress. My mum and bms also thought it was amazing.

I have since seen the one in the satin and it is also gorgeous. But I am not sure that it is quite as nice as the lace. The lace has something different about it, and not many people wear lace anymore.

Here is me trying on the one in the shop:

And the one on the model:

I will be ordering it in the zip up back and getting buttons put over the top of it.

I wouldn't worry about it, lots of brides on here have their doubts about the dress, but when they try it on again, the doubts disappear. I'm sure it looks lovely on you x

Thanks for posting a picture. Seeing you in that dress has reminded me just how beautiful that dress is! If you do decide on that dress what flowers would you have?

I know I am a bit late to reply but I have also put down a deposit on the same dress.
I love the lace, I think it looks so classy whereas I think satin sometimes looks cheap and it's not always so flattering. I tried so many different dresses on but nothing compared to this. I was choosing between this dress and a Maggie Sottero "Vienna" but I am so pleased I have chosen this one.
I am having pale pink David Austin roses for my flowers, I originally wanted peonies but as I am getting married in August they are out of season!

This is my first post!! I'm an Allanah bride, I love the subtle beading and the gorgeous lace. Can't wait to wear it on the big day! Would love to know what all the other Allanah brides are wearing to accessorize the dress? I'm trying to decide what sort of veil would go with it... I'm in love with a silk tulle drop veil, it's so elegant and timeless! Do you think a drop veil would go with the Allanah?

This is my dream dress - I really, REALLY want it. Unfortunately, I've already bought a dress

It's the total opposite of what I (now) want. I'm only 5'2 and my dress is quite big and the more I look at it the more I think it's about as wide as I am tall.

I tried it on again on Sunday in the shop and I'm still not convinced. Unfortunately I can't cancel it and she won't let me swap it either I thought the point in the deposit was to order something and if I pull out I lose my deposit. Apparently that's not how wedding dresses work!

I would have thought that was the point of a deposit too! It's a shame you feel that way but I'm positive you will look stunning in your dress....in any case your groom will think so!! Can you accessorise the dress in any way (tiara, shoes etc) to bring it round to the look you're now going for?

Unfortunately it's the shape of the dress I'm concerned about. I still like the top half but it's just too big.

I've promised myself that if I can beat myself into shape enough before this April (I dunno why, that's the date I've chosen lol) then I'll order one online.

I've just emailed my mum to tell her my doubts so I guess I'll see
