I didnt want a video but I was prepared to pay upto £1500 for the photography as those are your memories as it was we are getting married in low season so we got him cheaper and we are having a dvd to music of all our pictures as well
£2k for photography + extra £1k for photo album we'll order later and £1.25k for video
I paid £2000 for my photographer and £2000 for my videographer but as far as my fiancé and I are concerned these are the things that we will get to keep forever so we were willing to pay a bit more and save elsewhere x
£1,250 for two photographers for 10 hours
£1995 for photo album with 90 pictures in
£395 for engagement shoot and a guest book made out of the photos.
Total: £3,640
The book was the most expensive, but we didn't see any others we thought compared and didn't want to compromise on photos as they will remind you of the day forever! We really liked that it was husband and wife too.

Be wary of companies who push their prices up just to make themselves look better. It's not necessarily the case. At the same time though, look out for those companies who are very cheap or who are offering freebies as they are new to this and lack experience.

we had a budget of £6500 for photographer and videographer. Photographs are our main priority so we are spending £5700 n photographs and not having a videographer as the one we wanted was £3995 and we couldn't afford both.
We are unusual though as spending 35% of our budget just on a photographer so we are cutting back on lots of other things x

our wedding video and photography cost less than £1k in total because we used foreign photographer and videographer and were absolutely delighted. The photographer was Tomas Dolejsi, he speaks English and does destination weddings too. I got recommendation from another bride and never looked back.
