Due June 2012

Hi Girlies!

I got my BFP a week ago - am 5 weeks today Very excited, happy and nervous so finally plucked up the courage to start a thread! Hoping someone will join me soon so we can share our experiences!

This is my first pregnancy and all going well I am due on 11th June.

Congratulations MrsDunks - fab news. Hope some people join your thread soon, you can alweays have a nosey in our may thread in the meantime - i think that started when we were all around 5 ish weeks so might be interesting!

Ah i cant believe no one else is due in June yet - it wont be long im sure. Have you been to see your GP or anything yet? x

Went to gp on Mon, was a waste of time as he told me to find a midwife myself! I had to push him for a number and when I asked him a few questions (regarding me being O
neg blood and that my last period was a week late and much lighter than normal) he kept saying my midwife will answer my questions!

Just rang midwife and they have said to ring when I'm 7 weeks! So no help there either. Feeling a bit frustrated as I'm first of all my friends to be pg so haven't got anyone to discuss with!

Please excuse the hormonal rant xxx

I dont blame you for having a rant - thats awful! It does seem from the threads on here that the gps/midwives deal with people differently depending on where in the country you are, but i dont think ive heard of being told to find your own midwife!! Crazy! On a positive - only 2 weeks until you can see the midwife! xx
