Hi Anna,

My sister is getting married abroad and has asked me to help her with the planning. She's searching for a photographer and a florist - how can we find reliable suppliers when we live miles away?! What sort of questions should we ask and what do we need to look out for when checking people out on the web?

Thank you

Hi Anna,
My OH and I are thinking of getting married abroad, and combining our honeymoon and wedding, but we don't know where to look. He loves diving, but I just want to lie on a beach - and we're both real foodies... Any ideas where we could go?

Hi Anna, we're getting married in Las Vegas next year and, along with my family, I want my two best friends to come as bridesmaids (in the most informal sense of the word as there will only be about 10 of us there). I know one of my friends doesn't have a lot of money at the moment and I can't afford to pay for their flights so I'm wondering how to ask them and let them know I really want them there for my big day, without them feeling pressured to say yes if they can't afford it. Is it usually expected for the bride to pay for her bridesmaids to fly out?

Thanks x

I want my destination wedding to be gorgeous with lots of personal touches, but I know this can be tough when you're abroad. In particular I want to give some kind of cute favour -- but what kinds of things are good? (We're getting married in the Seychelles with about 20 guests.) Should I buy the favours from home and bring them in my luggage or try to source something once I get there? THANK YOU!!!

Hi
We're planning to get married in italy (my h2b is Italian). We obviously want people to be there, and have quite a large venue capacity, but we're worried about costs. People have said they don't mind paying because it'll be a lovely holiday, but it's still worrying us. is there anythign we can do to say thanks, help them out etc? We're really strapped for cash ourselves. Thanks

Hi Anna,

My fiancé is Colombian and although we're getting married here we have spoken about having a similar ceremony in Colombia. Do you have any advice on where we'd even start! We thought about Cartegena which is on the Caribbean coast.

Thanks!

Hi Anna,

I'm getting married in Skiathos next year and was wondering if you've any advice on anything we can consider before we go to make our wedding extra special (for example any favours, decorations or namecards we can fit in our suitcase?). Do you recommend a best way to start thinking about music? Is there any thing you can recommend to make it extra-memorable for guests?

Also, we're following the wedding with a party in the UK - are there any quirky ways to capture memories and bring them out at the party?

Thank you!x
