Just after some advice on florists in the Glasgow area - we're trying to stick to a budget and after a good cheap florist if anyone can recommend one???

Have you thought about silk flowers, silk blooms have been really helpful and the prices are quite good

I know a florist who is excellent and really reasonable. She is doing our wedding flowers and we use her for absolutely everything - birthdays, christmas etc. You can tell her what you want and she will tell you what it will cost or you can tell her what your budget is and she will explain what you can get for your money which I find a helpful way of going about things!! Her work is beautiful. If you would like her details just drop me a PM.

Glasgow City Council do floral displays and wedding bouquets and sell to the public. If you or someone you know works for the council you should be able to get 10% discount I think so might be worth looking into

Silk is something I'm investigating too - being australian, I'd love some native flowers to mix into a bouquet.

I also recommend silk flowers. I am having them. Never though tin a million years I would but I went to see centrepieces from www.etoileweddingdesign.co.uk and fell in love. I am also just getting them to do my venue, the prices were great, flowers amazing and the girl really does have great ideas.
