My OH in an SAC in the RAF Regt. We're actually already married. We had a small ceremony in September before he was due to go to Afghan, but we're having a big wedding on July 7th next year x

congrats lynsey i dont reli know any other raf wags were i am . has he come back from afghan now? my partner is due to go in the next 2 months and im so scared about it
My OH was due to go from Oct-May, but because he was downgraded due to an injury, he couldn't go in Oct. It's likely he will go in Jan. it's only natural to be scared, I am too x

Mine is an SAC(T) on 78 squadron.
We've done 3 tours now, 2 for Afghan and 1 for Iraq - they don't get easier but you do find a way to cope when you have to x

his reserve date is the 1st december so abit worried he might be gone over christmas which i hope he doesnt . dont know anyone who is reli going through the same things as my friends dont understand . how did u too cope? my partner is also i SAC(T) Lynsey
Our first tour together was over Christmas which was hard but you just have to get yourself into a routine and the secret is to KEEP BUSY! Setting yourself things to do every week, especially filling the weekends really helps as you set yourself smaller goals to reach to make the countdown much easier.
There's a few facebook groups and forums around which is when you find out how many other girls are in the exact same boat!
