Does 37 mean that I am an 'older' bride?!

I am 37, with a 17 year old son who is going to be one of our ushers - and I don't think of myself as an older bride - but I guess maybe I am? How depressing!!! I havent been married before - I am getting married in December in a church with a reception in a lovely posh hotel - the kind of wedding I always wanted but never thought I would have. So I am getting really excited now - and for the record I don't feel a day over 20!! I wonder if this is how I will feel when I am 60+?!

not an older bride at all .. im 53 and just got married and i will never consider myself as the older bride .......... NO bride is an older bride !!!!!! Good luck with your wedding i hope its all your dreams come true xxx

I have been married before and sadly widowed and at the very young
age of 39 Im doing it all over again. I did consider myself an older bride, I too have an older son(22 and a lance corporal in the army)and he is giving me away. Having just read this it made me smile and realise.... Im in love and love has no age limits, therefore Im not an old bride Im just not as young as some but not as old as others 
I also feel in my head that Im 20 (actually 18)and have a great time being young at heart. My saying is "if it makes you happy it cant be that bad"

I think you're a moose.
I am 23 and sometimes I feel old (i.e. when supporting drunk freshers at a sporting social event) and sometimes I feel young (i.e. when I read that the average age for marriage is 30). It's all contextual. It depends what people's expectations are. But hey, you don't have to follow other people's expectations - you can be as young or as old or as funny or as serious as you wish, especially when it's for something as much about you as your wedding!
