Subject: Hair Care - Recommendations Please!
I've decided to splash out on luxury haircare for the run up to my wedding in April and I'm planning to abuse the Harvey Nicks Christmas party discount (15%) to buy myself all the skincare (Elemis) and hair stuff I need.

Any recommendations for brands which will get my hair looking its very best?

Not from Harvey Nicks but I swear by the Aussie range of hair care! I have very long dark hair and use the LONG AND DARK products from the range and Im often complimented on how healthy my hair is.

For skin I like Clarins anything because Im not Elemis trained so Im bias Though Elemis range is great though.

On the run up to the wedding I think a skin serum is really beneficial and will give you that "glowing bride look". Also you cant go wrong with beauty flash balm from Clarins-a beauty must have for every bride and beyond

Hope I helped a little x

I use Charles Worthington hair products. I go to his salon for my haircut every 6 weeks so I get all my shampoos at the same time.

Aprilbride I too swear by Aussie products for my hair and Clarins for my skincare and both have never been in better condition! Aussie products have worked wonders on my hair and they smell fab too x.

I use Tigi bedhead products on my hair and swear by them. I used to use Kerastase which costs so much more than Tigi (if bought online) I usually get tweens (Salon size bottles of shampoo & conditioner) online and they work out much less than buying in a salon. My hair has blonde & caramel highlights every 6 weeks and is 'chest' length and tigi keeps it looking really healthy.

(God that sounds like an ad! I don't work for Tigi, honest!)

I use TIGI too, you can buy the really big salon size bottles in TK Maxx for around £10 and they last ages. I used to be an Aussie fan but I got through the bottles too quickly and the Tigi costs me the same in the long run. At the moment I'm using the Self Absorbed 'mega nutrient' range which I love.

I have quite long hair now and its highlighted, so I need to make sure I look after it what with w-day coming up. I also have found that not washing daily (as I used to do) has made a difference, I try to stick to three times a week now. Another thing which has made a huge difference is taking Perfectil once a day, they are vitamin tablets targeted to your skin, hair and nails.

I've just started taking Perfectil too! I keep forgetting to take them though as i'm not used to taking vitamins every day. I bought them on a three for two so worked out quite reasonable

devongirl - perfectil are great! My Mum got them for me and I was so skeptical, 'another vitamin' etc, but for the first time in ages I am finding I have to actually clip my nails as they keep growing without breaking! As I had quite major surgery, most of my body was quite weak and my hair & skin very lacklustre, but these have really helped. I do know what you mean about taking every day, I'm rubbish at remembering. Thank god I don't rely on the pill! x
