South London Hair and Make up required...

Hi All

Looking for some recommendations for a reasonably priced hair and make up person for my wedding in May.

There would be me and three others needing their hair and make up doing (although maybe one wouldnt have her hair done)...

It all seems a lot more expensive than I thought (like everything!) and now I'm a bit nervous as not sure we can afford for everyone to have everything done....what is anyone else doing?

Ideally I want a vintage looking do - doesnt have to be properly vintage styled but not just a bun with a few diamantes on if you know what I mean!

Also - worried there wont be enough time as the wedding is at 11.30 and we need about 45 minutes to get there so need to be up really early!! eeek...

not sure of your budget, but my lady Mel Kinsman is doing my wedding and I am goingfor vintage style. Argh! Me not noticing posts strikes again! I had a trial on Saturday for my hair and have a make up trial with someone else next Saturday - didn't see either of your messages Nicoll and Mangotree!!

I think I will go with the hair lady (she has a miniature dachshund that sits on your knee and falls asleep - that's what swung it for me!) but will see how the make up trial goes on Saturday and if I'm still looking I will let you know!
