Wedding Band...The Strides

Hello!
My fiance and I have just booked The Strides as our wedding band.
A few friends have recommended them and, as we don't live in the country, we haven't seen them and may not get a chance to see them before our big day. (Yes, a worrying thought!)
Has anyone heard of them/seen them and would like to put me out of my worry?!

We have also booked The Strides and live in England. However they seem to come very recomended.

We are going up to Aberdeen in Jan (thats where we are getting married and my family live there) and going to see The Strides perform in Edinburgh while we are there.

Will let you know what they are like.

Ive booked them too with only seeing them on you tube!! They were my 3rd choice but other 2 i liked were booked for my day.

i can't wait to see them!

Sorry ladies - have been looking for the post to let you know how the band was and couldn't find it. Dog

We saw the band last thurs at a pub in Edinburgh and they were great. My fiancé spoke to them before the gig at their break and after and they were really friendly.

They played a lot of older music at the gig but when they did the killers and kings of Leon it wad fab. They really got the audience going and singing along.

They said if we wanted specific songs / playlist just to email them. So I'm a lot more relaxed now a I was really worried.
They are great lads and I think they will be really good.

We are also having the strides. We went to Edinburgh to see them, stayed the night at Hotel Du vin, nice night. Cant wait for them to play at our wedding as we are quite into our indie music xx

I'm so glad you've all replied! It puts me at ease knowing that there are great reviews about them. We are back in Scotland for a few weeks over the summer so hoping we can catch them bwfore we get married!
