We had our marriage prep class yesterday at the church- it was our second one due to venue change, and i really enjoyed it, made me think alot about the future. Anyway we had a couple come in to invite us to do a course- not really religious though by the alpha people, it's by Nicky and Sila Lee has anyone done it and thought it useful, or anyone going to do it? We saw an introduction of it and it looked quite good, it would just be alot of hassle arranging childcare, but if anyone has done it or done one similar can you let me know what you thought of it? Thanks!!

Haven't done the course, but I have their book and it is brill. Very practical,lots of life examples, and funny too! whilst written from a Biblical perspective it doesn't try to ram anything down your throat, and is applicable to anyone getting or already married

We have done the first one with our minister and it is brilliant!

really gets you talking as a couple. I cant wait to do the other 4 sessions. Id definately reccomend it, and apart from Niki and Silla being Chritians and a prayer at the end of each session its not about religion. xx

Ruth where did you get the book from? We've been in a bit of a flap and just realised the first session is tonight. h2b has chicken pox, and is going to singapore in a few weeks with work. I feel quite bad about it. Will drop the organisers of it an email and ask about the book, will only help i'm guessing?
