Pinkish discharge...? Any thoughts?

Hello, everyone, I've just transferred across from You and Your Wedding site to ask a quick question:
I had my contraceptive implant removed on 10th January 2012 and came on my period the next day which seemed like a normal period (but maybe it was just a withdrawal bleed?)
For the week following that me and my partner have been having sex using the withdrawal method a few times, then on Thursday 26th Jan we had our first sex where he finished in me (sorry to be so blunt!) and again on Friday and then again on Saturday (last night) What I am wondering is, on the Thursday, so only a day after first unprotected sex, I has the slightest of pink discharge, then again on the Friday, but just on those two single occasions after seeing it on tissue from after using the bathroom. Would that have been too soon for implantation bleeding or not?
As I've been on the implant for about 3/4 years prior to this, I have NO idea what my natural cycle is or when to expect my next period. Just wondered what your thoughts are or if anyone's been in similar situation this close from having the implant removed.

Sorry but think more likely to be your body getting back to normal, could be an implantation bleed but the only way to know is going to be the next 2 weeks wait and then test. Do you know if you ovulated? Signs such as cervical mucus

I think that would be too soon. I had an implantation bleed about 2 weeks after we'd conceived our son. When I came off the pill though I also had some bleeds after sex. It turned out the hormonal changes had caused an ectropian cervix, completely normal and nothing to worry about. It was discovered at my next smear. It could be that you have that but it could be just your body adjusting as cebpickle has suggested. Not to say that you're not pg, but I think it would be too soon to be implantation.

I agree with both the above, seems a little too soon for plantation bleed unless you ovulated not long after having the implant removed and your withdrawal method didn't work (as its not a very reliable method).
I had my implantation bleed 7 days after ovulation with my first pregnancy but didn't get one this time round.
I suppose the possibility is there but its more likely to be your body adjusting. Did you say you got the bleed shortly after sex? If so maybe you have a slight tear that bleeds a little when aggravated. I prob give it another week and do a test, and then again in 2weeks. If it was an implantation bleed it would more than likely show by that time

I'm planning on doing a test on 9th Feb so it'll be 2w since the first unprotected and then if it's bfn, i'll do another a week after that to account for the times we did it after that so it's been 2 weeks by then as well, we've been having unprotected and finishing in me practically everyday since Wednesday, so I guess only time will tell!

Hazzerrr one thing to bear in mind is that the docs say not to have sex every day when you are ttc as it reduces the quality of the sperm

Yes every 2-3 days is recommended, especially in the longer term of TTC as it gives the sperm chance to top up, and they can live inside you up to 7 days anyway

Oh right, I had heard somewhere about not having it everyday but wasn't sure why. I guess we'll have to slow down haha

Hey everyone, just to say, I did exactly what I knew I shouldn't have and tested today which I KNEW was too early anyway but I just couldn't stop myself, and of course it was a BFN which was devastating even though I told myself it would be a negative, still horrible to see the lonely depressing single line
I'll next test probably around the 11th/12th feb which again seems yeeeeears away but hopefully it'll be a more exciting result after the wait.
I have ever so slightly sore boobs and can't stop eating but I just don't trust my body as I know what it's capable of, I am an unfortunate ex-victim of multiple phantom pregnancies so I never know when to believe it, it's so hard to just switch off from thinking about it!!! arrrgh

Hi, sorry about your bfn but fingers crossed it's too early to test!

NB: we TTC for 10 months and we always bd every other day during my fertile period, but the month we conceived every day for 10 days incase I ov early or late! So not always the case to bd every 1-2 days! I suppose everyone is different!
