Hi Ladies,

I'm newly engaged and me and my husband to be are just talking about a potential destination wedding what does everyone think on this? Our families are happy to travel and I'd love a wedding in the sun as would my H2B so for me its all about the bridal experience I can get there? I am all about the dress what are you thoughts on destination dresses?

Hey,

Where are you thinking? I'm getting married in Italy and have a fishtail 'normal' dress opposed to a destination one. I've heard though that dresses with a hoop can be cooler though as it keeps the air around your legs.

I'm looking for a destination dress very similar to lady heathers but more styled as Grecian
As we are getting married on the beach in Crete and I love that style

Hi all,

We are getting married in Santorini in May and I have gone for an A-line dress (White rose style r434). I am a size 14 and so needed something to pull me in. Its so hard to find something destination that can still be bridal.

Hi , Im getting married in Cyprus and my dress is Maggie Sottero Geneva, not a small dress at all, its got a massive train and a few layers on the skirt but I dont care about the heat, I had to have it

I've ordered quite a big dress but now I've changed my mind completely and I want a cool, floaty, chiffon dress - it's what I wanted initially and I think I got carried away! In negotiations with the dress shop at the minute about changing it, I don't want to be too hot and uncomfortable

Has anyone looked on Asos marketplace for destination wedding dresses?

Just stumbled across it, had no idea of looking on Asos before, some beautiful dresses & very reasonable prices without the worry of buying from a site in China!!
