First Dance

Hi wondering if anyone can help?
I'm 21 my hubby-to-be is 25.
Were really struggling on picking the song for oour first dance.
Just looking for ideas really.
'Our Song' is Tim Burg-Seek Bromance. Which doesnt seem appropriate for the first dance.
So please help

the first verse is very us/me/how we met, the chorus is how we view a marriage, giving each other what we need.

i think the man will push for something from Phanton of the Opera but we will see at the end of the day.

the song should mean something rather than perhaps be 'appropriate'

I think we're having either lonestar amazed or nickelback never gonna be alone, h2b isn't keen on lonestar but I think it's perfect for a wedding!!

i think we are going to have paul weller, you do something to be. i love that song and think its perfect for us.

"our song" is oasis, half the world away and it just didn't seem right for a first dance song.

Well We're around the same age as you guys (I'm 21 now, but will be 22 when getting married and H2B will be 26). I'm hopefully walking down the aisle to a string quartet version of 'All you need is love' and back down to 'hard days night'. We haven't completely decided on the first dance but the singer of my H2B band, and Best Man, is going to sing it and it's more than likely to be 'Iris' by the Goo Goo Dolls or 'Just Like Heaven' by The Cure. I know its hard around our age that if you don't want the traditional stuff for anything and not having something that hasn't been played a million times and more on the radio!! I'm just thinking to go with something that suits the both of you and you'll be happy x
