Hi, my mum is a size ten, 5' and finds it really hard to find clothes to fit her. We've had a look at the department stores but everything swamps her a bit. SOme things we could take up but it would be great to find a store that makes MOB dresses for shorter ladies. The bridal shops were even worse as the fabrics were twice as heavy.
Does anyone have any suggestions at all? We're in the Hampshire, Berkshire area.

Where are you shopping? Most palces tend to stock size 8's and even 6's these days, if something was a little long then getting it taken up by a tailor shouldn't be an issue

John Lewis stock a lot of their range as part of their petite collection

Also Debenhams (which has become one of my favourite shops since planning this wedding) has a good petite range.

My mother had the same problem she is a size 8-10 and petite, she has gone for a John Charles outfit, have a look for stockists they're beautiful.

Hi, my mum is 4'11 size 8 and her outfit was by Ian Stuart. She got the shop to adjust the hem and it looked fantastic! There are pics on my wedding report, I think maybe on page 10.
