Hi ladies wondered if anyone is getting married at the savoy park in Ayr x

I'm getting married at Brig O'Doon in Ayr! The Savoy Park is a lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Are you from Ayr?? Would be good to hear who you have chosen for flowers/hair etc etc - if you have done that yet! When are you getting married?

Hi yeah I'm fro ayr,I took the package at the savoy so the florist included is hollow park on maypole road,photographer is Brian Muir from air image, I'm not getting married until march 2013 so haven't picked hair etc yet!!

Yeah I'm originally from Ayr but now live in Dundee. My family still live in Ayr.

I've booked lots actually, I kind of went a bit mad once I secured the date at the Brig then had a bit of a lull for the last few months.

I have my dress - got that from a shop in Perth. It's Stephanie Allin. Got cars from a company in Glasgow. Photographer is from Kirkcaldy (we went with him as he done a friends wedding and the photos were the best I have ever seen), band is Ernest from Glasgow, booked Ayrs & Graces the B&B for me a bridal party for the night before, got string quartet booked and pipe band! Next step I think will be florist, honeymoon and save the dates!

I just wish I was getting married this year!

What dates your wedding? Yeah I have my dress but I have just found out I'm pregnant and due in October so I'm trying stick to healthy eating etc so won't need much alterations haha lucky me!!

You should look at hollow park there stuff is lovely,also Jo from flowers at 7 in alloway her stuff is amazing!!!

I was google'ing reviews on wedding packages at the Savoy Park Hotel to find out a little more about them and came across your post, we have an appointment tomorrow with the wedding co-ordinator at the hotel and have what the package includes - but it doesnt go into too much detail. Do you know if you get to choose your own flowers from Hollow Park? Do you also know what the evening entertainment is? Sorry about all the questions - truly love the Savoy cant wait to get married there x

Congratulations on your pregnancy! What is your dress like??

I got some brochures from Hollow Park and Kirstie's Flowers in Troon - they all seem to come in at roughly the same cost per item. I aldo got a quote from Cherry Blossom - they won the VOW award. The prices are similar to Hollow Park but when she put it all together in a quote it was expensive! Think it's more to do with what I want as opposed to the price of the flowers!
