We are going to have outdoor party games at our reception... Im thinking Giant Jenga, Giant Noughts and Crosses etc.
Our venue rents out Jenga, Noughts and Crosses and Crouquet for £100 (which I think is a lot considering we are giving them £10k already!!!!).
What have other people done? Has anyone found it cheaper to buy their own games (probably second hand on ebay) and then resell them again?
Just wondering what the cheapest option will be?
Anyone who has had outdoor party games?!?

We are hiring outdoor games. It's costing us £33 for a giant jenga, giant connect 4 & giant twister. Try searching for local companies who hire out bouncy castles as they often hire outdoor games too - it's what we did!

we're hiring with the boucy castle and i think they will be about 10-15 each 20 if you dont hire the bouncy castle so yeah your venue is being cheeky. il second looking at bouncy castle hire places
we looked at buying but it was actually quite expensive and their means thinking carefully about storing the buggerrs before you sell them on again

Hmmm, yeh, I think the venue are being a bit cheeky... but I wonder if they will allow us to use another supplier of giant games when they offer it already. Think I'll have to ask them!

That seems a bit high. But they probably get away with the price because of the convenience of renting the games direct from the venue rather than getting another supplier in. I'd search around for another quote.

you can always get another quote from somewhere else and tell the venue and see if they will match it, as you say youre already giving the a lot for money they could do you a nice deal, im sure it doesnt really cost them anything to get them out
