Achnagairn House

Hello!
We are getting married at Achnagairn House next August and I wondered if there are any other Achnagairn brides out there?
Has anyone been to a wedding there recently? I'm really interested in what caterers people are using/have used as we can't make up our minds!

Yeah we're looking into them, but they charge a lot for travel....and we're spending as much money as it is so an extra few hundred pounds seems silly!

We are also getting married at Achnagairn next Aug!!! Like you we are currently looking at caterers and have to say the quotes for costs are a bit more than we originally thought.... have you chosen yours yet?

How far along are you with rest of your planning?

Hello MrsJJ2B! We've decided to go with Taste of Moray as our caterers. We wanted the menu tweaked a little bit and they were more than happy to oblige. The owner's husband is also going to put on a hog roast for us in the evening. They were the most reasonably priced and the menu sounded the best, in my opinion. Although, still a tad more expensive than we thought we'd pay!
Got quite a lot planned for our wedding....we actually live overseas so we've booked/ordered a lot of things via the internet and by reccomendation. Home for 4 weeks in the summer so got dresses/flowers/cakes etc to organise then! How are you getting on with your planning? How excited are you about getting married at Achnagairn?? It's so beautiful!!
