My boyfriend and I have just got engaged so excited!!! we'd really love something not too formal, not a hotel and something quite rural or with a fabulous garden as would love to have a BBQ or hog roast. We have family in Leeds and we're in Manchester so would be ideal to get somewhere in between or not too far away.
I just wondered if any one had any suggestions? feeling so overwhelmed with it all!

My friends got married abroad and had their UK do here, they had a hog roast. I loved the room as well and in a lovely area:

One idea would be to go to some of the local councils and get lists of approved venues, e.g.:

We had our engagement party here, but don't think there's any real outside space. The service was excellent, the food good, and really well priced.

Have a look at weddings and wellies. They do farm/marquee wedding in west Yorkshire, 10 mins off m62, looks amazing! X
