Nissi Beach Resort Brides? ... worried about flowers!

Hi Everyone,

Any of you lovely Nissi Brides to be worried about what your flowers will actually look like on the day?

If we were to be getting married at home there would be consultations and you'd be able to speak to someone about what you want. Whereas over in Cyprus we're not going to see what they'll look like until the day! :/

I guess it s natural to worry about how your flowers are going to be,but if your florist has a website,with samples of her work, annd of course a good reputaton in the area, then im sure they will be lovely. There are some wonderful flowers out there, i was there in May and was pleased to be able to see some "real life" weddings out there, and the flowers were really nice. I guess my tip would be to have them delivered as close to the ceremony time as possible, to help avoid them wilting on the day.

Hi there Im not a Nissi beach bride but I am getting married in Cyprus in June. I have this worried too... I've had nightmares of turing up and having carnations...with I really dont like! I'm sure it will be fine, but I do worry about the finer details and hope it's all as I imagine xx

Won't you get a consulatation with the florist? We're getting married in Cyprus, not Nissi Beach but we have an appointment with the florist before the wedding to talk through what we've ordered and see pics etc

Im good thanks, yeah I remember consulting with you a few months ago - quite a while ago actually... time is flying by! Hope your well too! Im sure it'll all be fine but it's the one thing I have no control over at the minute and its bugging the life out of me! Good tip about getting them delivered as close to the wedding as poss - thank you!

Hi MrsS2B - a few months back I woke up crying my eyes out because I looked down my bouquet was brocoli!!!! With a huge pink ribbon tied round it! It was awful!! I'd be gutted to have a bouquet of carnations too! Not long for you now!

Hi Sarsa - Not that I know of but I'd really like one, it might sound silly but my bouquet has to be perfect - its an important detail for me! Ive emailed my hotel wedding coordinator and asked for the florists contact details - fingers crossed he has some!

I don't think it's silly at all, of course you want it to be right! I would definitely ask for a meeting with the florist, there's no reason you can't have that

I'm new to this site and thought it would be a good place to get some ideas and also share my worries about my wedding in June at Nissi Beach! What is everyone planning for the entertainment at the reception? Our reception is at the Rondeval and I cant decide!

Any advice would be much appreciated!
