Older Brides With Younger H2B

Just wondering if any of us older brides have younger husbands ?
I will be 38 when we get married next year and my H2B will be 27 we have been together for years and have a 2 yr old son . Sorry if i have missed a previous post about this but so many threads to plough through.
This is a first time wedding for both of us so having the day how i always wanted ( apart from the church having a civil wedding)
So just wondering if anyone wants to chat about it

hiya, me too!! I will be 39 when we get married next September and my h2b will be 28. We've been together for 7 years and have a 4 year old son. It felt a bit strange at first telling people we're getting married as I sort of thought it would never happen.

It is first time for both of us too and we have really similar tastes which is great - means we haven't fell out over anything yet. When do you get married?

hi me too im 32 hes 22 we been together 4 years. i find it difficult telling people our ages so many people look at you as if your mad. but ive never grown up and he was born old lol so we meet in the middle and he amazing with my son its all just numbers at end of day and were very happy.
it also first time marriage for both of us as well.

I am a younger H2B, I'm 40 and there's 7 years between my beautiful fiancee Sue and I. The only person who was concerned by the age difference was Sue herself at the very start of our relationship. The only thing that matters is that we love each other immensely and I know that our wedding day on 20th June 2009 will be heavenly.

Hi, I'm getting married to my fab h2b who is 17 younger than me I'm 47 and he's 30 and we've been together for almost 3 years. Age has never been an issue for him though I was quite hesitant at first but I got over it. It will be the 2nd time for me but the 1st time for him and I'm happier now than I ever was during my first marriage. He's the complete opposite of my 1st husband thank God and am so blessed to have him in my life - I'm smiling every day.

He's 24, I'm 37!

We've been together 3 and a half years. We have 2 year old twin boys and an 11 month old little girl. (Who are all lovely!)

He's a great Father and a sweet partner and he's lovely!

Nice to meet you all ,glad i am not the only one I get married June 09 and so looking forward to it . I am boring anyone who will listen (including H2B ) going on about our wedding plans and the price of chair covers lol .

You guys all make me feel more normal.

I'll be 50 in December and h2b is 37. We've been together for just over 5 years now. It gets a bit weird sometimes because my older daughter is 23 and tends to go out with older men so it's not unusual for her man & mine to be around the same age.

The age gap used to make me feel a bit insecure even though I know I don't look my age. That all vanished in a puff of smoke when he proposed. And ever since then, whenever he gets a wee bit squiffy he tells me how lucky he is to have found me

Hey guys...good to see I'm not the only one!! I was 40 this year and my h2b is 30! We've been together 6 years now and have 2 year old twin girls!! I also have 12 year old son from my prevous marriage! H2b is a fantastic dad and I feel so lucky to have another chance at happiness with him!! We're getting married on 24th April 2010 and I can't wait!!

Once you're over 21 I really don't think age matters. I feel much more comfortable with my h2b and our 13 year gap than I did with my ex-husband who was a more traditional 3 years older than me.

Hi Im going to be 46 when we get married next year and H2B will be 41. Just like bagwash my daughter is with an older man - she is 19 he is 38 so very close in age! We have been friends for about 10 years and finally got together as a couple 2 years ago (after a false start couple of years before). Ive never been so happy!. My 2nd marriage and his 1st.

I will be 39 and my H2B will still be 30, although he will be 31 a couple of weeks later! (He's so cheeky, I insisted that I would marry him only if it was before I was 40, so he chose the date and insisted he wanted to be 30!!!). I was worried initially about the age gap, but we never notice it ourselves, we are so compatible.
He is the best thing that ever happened to me - I was with my ex for 20 years prior and I never felt I could be myself, I always had to be perfect in everything and this eventually made me ill. H2B has been fab and wonderfully supportive during my recovery and lets me be me, which is so fab! We have so much fun together, he is truly my best friend and I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him!!

I was 45, husband 34, 1st time for both of us when we married this summer.

I will be 32, H2B will be 25 when we marry next year. We only notice it when we hear a song or something and I'll say that it reminds me of, say, being at Uni, and he'll go "I was 14"!
I would NEVER have thought I'd even go out with a younger man, but we're best friends, have a gorgeous son, and I'm very very happy. Just goes to show...
