Nope - personally I don't see the point.
I guess if you love each other I reckon it's fine to have a full relationship.
Each couples personal choice in the end.
H2b and I live together and we do have a full relationship - although now we both working full time and have a little puppy it isn't really an issue lol as we always fall asleep as soon as it hits 10pm.

No we aren't. My cousin did with her husband, but what happens if you aren't sexually compatible and your already married?

we live together but jobs (especially mine with the strange shifts & unsocial hours) and the wedding planning etc... mean we don't really indulge much! It'll alter for the better once we're wed!

What do you mean by sexually incompatible? What does this mean? forming a relationship together means you should talk about stuff and compromise or better still, find solutions that suit you both so it's a win/win situation. This doesn't just apply to sex, but every area of life! Please explain what you mean by sexual compatibility!

I know exactly what that means!
What if he just 'doesn't do it' for you?
What if you have completely different sex drives or like very different things or one of you has a fetish the other abhores.
I do agree that some things in sex can be compromised, worked on and new things tried but there are certain people who will never be sexually compatible. It is rare but it can happen and I would never take the risk of waiting til I was married before I found out.

My h2b and I are going to have a month abstinence before our big day but have been together four years now! I admire people who do wait but personally, I think it puts more pressure on the big day as it's sort of a double big day! I waited for the 'one' but it is just personal choice really! Xxx

hiya, no me and my partner have been together just over 6 and half years, since we were 15...... and to be quite honist i dont think we would of been able 2 wait that long, i dont really see the point to be honist, at least you tried stuff, no what you both like, you can add that all in to the wedding night to make the night extra special, and anyways as everyone says the first time is always the worse, and sometimes painful for the gal, so why have that as a memory on your wedding night?

people used to wait til their wedding nights but that was when people got married early and weren't engaged for long. in the old old days girls were normally married off by the time they were 17 so when you think of it that way they didnt wait either! i personally havent but we will be having a month before where we abstain so that the wedding night is something wanted. but i do respect people who do wait as it is a personal choice and as long as you both happy it doesnt really matter!

Yeh I agree with Leanne - I think it would be quite a stressful thing and put a lot of expectations on the wedding night.
I don't know if we will consumate our marriage on our wedding night - to be honest I'm not too bothered. We will see what happens. We will prob both be exhuasted and want to crash out to be honest. I wil lbe nice to know there is no pressure.

i really dont see the point, why people are stopping it for a month before to? do you not think this is just a wait of time? you done it before you ot married, so you might aswell carry on, i no personally i wouldnt be able 2 wait that long, and no H2B wouldnt, but hey everyone is different

the waiting a month thing isnt to try and feel like a virgin. part of my faith is incorporated because we arent supposed to see each other for a week before so the month without sex is just extended! it just builds up the tension i guess. if you dont have it for a while you miss it. just a bit of fun to make it a bit more special

We aren't waiting, and no way could i keep my hands off my man for a whole month, plus i don't see the point if you love someone.

i agree with xxamorexx about being incompatible in the bedroom, having been married before i found that out the hard way with my ex!!! You can love someone to bits and be really sure about the relationship but if that part isn't right it can lead to tension and put distance between you. So to me making sure that bit is right is important as it can make or break a relationship if it's not!!

we arent waiting until we are married - but i am not against it. Each to there own. We went to a wedding recently and everyone knew that the couple were going to do it for the first time that night and there was something weird about knowing that the whole family were looking at them like oh when u leave here tonight you are going to take her virginity good luck mate! I think it might add pressure if people know you have waited.xxxxxxx

Good luck all you guys who are holding off as well x
