just wanted to share with you that i sent out my wedding invitations last and have already received 10 replies, we have given guests up until April 1st to reply as we are meeting with our Venue the same week and have to give definate numbers ,yeah, i am so excited now, getting married on 1st august only 227 days to go.
After loosing the previous invitations we had bought, h2b still does not know what he did with them, i ordered them again and then got them out as soon as possible.
I can not beleive how quickly time is going, it will soon be us :\)

Gosh! Thats early....not a critisism...maybe im just not organised! lol Infact.. yeah thats it!
We dont plan to send them till about 8 weeks before..am I cutting it fine? Oh now i'm wondering whether I should send them out earlier... I should avoid this site... it send me into a whirl of confusion! lol only 236 days to go! x

Would you recommend putting a rsvp by date on the invitation? I've just spent the whole weekend and last night making ours and finally finished now so they are spread out drying all over the flat!
I haven't done the inside part yet though and on the draft we haven't put rsvp by.... Do you think people will leave it until we chase things up if we don't state a date by?

Hi, i put an rsvp on mine, one because the venue needs to numbers but also for those who can not make the day, it leaves me enough time to send out invites to people on the evening list and move them over to the day as we must have a minimum of 80 people otherwise we will still have to pay for 80
Hi im also aug and am gonna send mine out in jan. i need to know numbers so i can budget properly im glad im not the only one sending them out early it feels better to know im not the only super organised one! im gonna give a march rsvp date x
yeah, another one, i would suggest a rsvp is a must at least this gives you time to definatley sort numbers out
Also people keep asking me when the date is cos ive already changed it once and im fed up with hearing auntie whats her name wants to know etc etc... i wanna get them sent so we all know where we stand! x
1659loulou - Yay Im not the only one, mine have been made and are on their way to me (hopefully!). Im sending them out at the start of January. We meet with our venue in May so asked for replies by then and also so we can budget properly.
Everyone says we are sending them out to early but I dont care, Im just to excited!!!!!!!

You ladies are very organised. I wasn't going to send mine out until April, ummm going to have a re-think now.
I would definitely put a rsvp date on the invites, otherwise I think you might have a lot of chasing up to do. We are putting one on ours.
