Credit Crunch Concerns

I'm beginning to worry a little about the expense of it all!

We have booked the - in my humble opinion, the best place in town to get married.. but with the best, means expense.
Whilst, i know my job is safe, im so worried about other people not being able to afford the ridiculous prices at the bar & other wedding costs, so much that they might not come.
I have forwarned close friends to start saving but .......... oooooohhhhhhh!!

I dont want to book my honeymoon.... just in case the holiday company goes bust or our own finances change.
Im not paying any thing more than the deposits until closer to the time.. just in case

How is the whole credit crunch affecting everyone elses decisions?

hi curvy , it is a huge worry as far as im concerned , althou at the moment my h2b's job is safe the area that he is based in has had huge cutbacks on workers nd hours if they were to go down then so would the place my h2b works .....my job is safe i work in retail but we are no longer allowed to work any overtime where as normally there is always overtime to be covered i think it is a very worrying time ..hope all goes well for you xxx

Me to my reception is £85 per head and I have to have a min of 80 people work that one out!! It's the perfect place to get married and I don't planning on changing this, I've had to tighten my belt too it's not easy you look harder and further and you will get there.

Mine and h2b jobs are safe. Have you thought about doing avon or something to earn some extra cash??

i know how you feel. our jobs are safe but with a new mortgage and the winter bills having to be paid soon im loosing sleep!! i keep panicing how we are going tp pay for everything!! xx

it is a very stressful time , its mad before xmas it was like i had stacks of time for everything but uh oh xmas has now gone nd its approaching rather fast ..and the fact of most people are pretty much broke after xmas due to the expense of prezzie's etc ......anybody know the lottery numbers this week plz haha xx
