First Month of TTC!

Hi all,

This is mine and hubs first month of ttc

I cant believe that after waiting 2 years the time has come to have a family
We got married 3 weeks ago (16th May 09) and are hoping to fall pregnant pretty quick (like everyone lol).

Well been looking on the net this afternoon and have found out that im ovulating around about now give and take a couple of days. I really hope we have caught/going to catch.

Am due on 20th of June, so just over 2 weeks to wait until AF arrives or BFP!

Anyone in the first month of trying out there to follow along with?
Anyone get pregnant pretty quickly?

We are in our first month too!!.. came off the pill mid May, havent had a true AF yet & have done a couple of ovulation tests but they are negative

How long ago did u come off the pill? - have you had a true period yet? x

I took my last pill on the 21st May, and I had my first period off the pill on time. We did have unprotected sex once before that period but didnt catch. So its all systems go at the moment. Just started having some mild cramps today suggesting that I'm possibly ovulating.
Lots of babydust coming your way meadowbrook, you will have to keep in touch and let me know how you are getting on. Hopefully going to keep this post going, so can update you when things happen my end.

I am a fellow Hall for the time being anyway, get married on 18th July, This is going to be my first month TTC - I am currently AF at the moment, my first true one after coming off the pill at the end of April, I thought it was never going to come. I am day three so in about a weeks time we will try.
be nice to follow it along with someone else!

Hi ladies, we too are on our first month of TTC. Took my last pill on 13th May and had normal bleed a few days after. Had some cramping over the last couple of days with i think was possibly ovulation. Have been doing the deed every 2 or 3 days since finishing AF. Did use ovulation sticks for a few days but decided on leaving them and relaxing and seeing how we get on. Fingers crossed for a quick result! x

Hello ladies

We too are in our first month of trying, I come off the pill 4 weeks ago and we have been doing the "baby dance" pretty much every 2 - 3 nights. I felt a lil icky over the weekend, just very nauseous, etc, but i am putting that down to family stress at the mo as its settled a little now

getting married in 31 days, we have decided to ttc, just bought some folic acid today!! Hope I wont have to wait long before we concieve!

Nice to see more than a handfull of us in our first month of TTC.

My cramping hasnt really died off since the other day, but hasnt got any worse like it did the last month. We have been doing the babydance near enough every night for the past week except for last night, as ovulation calendar said that today is my highest day for getting caught (oh I do hope so). But I did read somewhere that there is a better chance of getting caught if you do it between every 2 to 3 days, as this gives the man a bigger sperm load lol. I'm getting really confussed :-S
Well anyway, bought some cheap pregnancy tests today to stick in the draw if needed in 2 weeks, and hopefully will get a BFP if AF doesnt come.

Hi Emma... what sort of calendar r u using for ovulation - is it online? also what dates are u putting in.. the date from the pill period?... I tried with that date & it said yesterday was my most fertile.. although a ovulation test said neg!

Im confused too!! hopefully we'l guide each other through hehe

Yes im using an online ovulation calendar, I was going to buy an ovulation kit but hubby said no!!! Here's mine;

When I come off the pill which was 21st April, I had my 'pill period' and then we were safe for the rest of the time until I had my first 'normal period' I was on time and everything (couldnt quit believe it) I wanted to get my first normal period out of the way first before trying. So I put the date from my first bleed of my proper period. Gosh getting really confused now lol. So today is my most firtile day.

It's going to be nice guiding each other through.

Miss Hall we can all follow along in this thread, wouldnt it be nice if we all fell pregnant, then we could follow along with that. Hehe, ohhh I am wishful thinking lol.

yes this will be good to see. A few people have told me that following it on the online calendars is good but sometimes the ovulation days can be a little bit out by a few days and the kits are the best to get a true reading, I think I will go with the online site for the moment, if we do it for most of the time when it is meant to be we should hopefully hit it about right.
If all fails after a few months of trying i might think about getting a kit - they are not cheap!

Good luck to all and be nice to see each others progres - I am looking forward to day one of trying, my libido seems to have peeked since coming off the pill - H"B is loving that!

Miss H - i am the same as you next month i'm going to go with the online calu - have you used the ones where it tells you when is the best time for a boy or girl?

I'll let u know if it works = has it worked for anyone?
