Music - Choir

Hi everyone

Getting married in our local church and we are having a piper but also want a choir for the hymes... problem is that our choir... aren't very good! Does anyone know where I could hire a choir or singers for the hymes!

I've looked online but would prefer recommendations!

How about contacting local schools / colleges and see what they have to offer?!

Local schools, universities, local choral society or chorus (their conductors may have contacts?), even your nearest cathedral or larger parish church (depending where you are) may have more information. There are also various companies that hire out professional choirs but they do get quite pricey! If you only want them for the hymns though, I would probably stick with your church choir anyway - all that's needed is a few confident singers to bolster your congregation! However, if you want them to sing something by themselves then you might need to get in help...
Whereabouts are you based? Might be able to be more specific with where to approach - church music is my trade. xx

Hey Chess4, I'm hoping you might be able to help me. I'm looking for a gospel choir in Norfolk. I'm never gonna e able to afford anyone like LCGC but was wondering whther you know of any local ones? I've spent hours googling to no avail.....
