Having our own section has motivated me to think about hitting the diet again (properly). So are there others who'd like to join in?

I currently weigh 14st 12lb and need to lose another 2 stones to achieve a healthy weight. I've already lost 1 stone since January but have been maintaining for a few weeks now so that it doesn't feel like a crash diet and I don't end up piling it all back on again. I haven't been dress shopping yet so my motivation at the moment is to reduce the bingo wings!

My weigh in day is Wednesday. I'm doing Weight Watchers and Davina's Total Body workout, and am soon to start swimming lessons!!

Hi,well done on losing a stone already!
I'm not so much hoping for weight loss, I just really want to tone up. Since having my daughter, my tummy isn't what it used to be! My weight now fluctuates between 9 and 9 1/2 stone but I'd like to get to 8 1/2 as I always used to be that weight before my daughter was born.

I'm doing a DVD workout have done it 4 times per week but this is only week one so could use some motivation on here to keep going!

As for healthy food, my diet is appalling and I really need to start eating less carbs but I seem to crave them so badly! Any tips gratefully received!

Dr Jones2B are you me in disguise?? I also weigh 14st 12 and have lost a stone in 5 weeks! Im doing Weight Watchers too (my weigh-in is on a Thurs). Want to get down to a size 12 ideally so I've prob got around 3/4 stone to lose. If I maintain my current 2lb a week rate I should manage something close to that!

Good luck for today!

Clairebear, what kind of carbs do you usually crave? I've got a really savoury tooth so I've had to find ways of adapting things to fit in with WW, can give you some tips if you like? xx

Hi claire, Mrs_Adams and BlackpoolRox. Its great to have some moral support with dieting as I struggle with my motivation from time to time, so the more the merrier!

BlackpoolRoz - that is really spooky! You've done really well! Hope I can keep up with you!

Well ... I had my weigh in and I've lost another pound so I'm now 14st 11lb. I'm pleased with that as I only reduced my points on Sunday. Good luck to everyone for your weigh-ins!

Blackpool Rox that's me, a very savoury tooth! I love chips, bread, pasta, rice, crisps the lot!

I try to eat whole grain versions of bread but slip up more often than I should!

I would love some tips!

You're all doing really well with your weight loss, well done xx

Woohoo well done Dr Jones2b! I don't think I'll have lost anything but have been quite bad this week so as long as I've not put any on I don't mind too much!

Clairebear, I love all those foods too!! Things I've learnt from doing Weight Watchers then: Multipack bags of crisps like Squares, French Fries and Walkers Baked are only 1.5 points but are enough to curb the crisp craving. Wholemeal rice and pasta are prob better for you but have no difference in points on WW. Homemade chips are surprisingly easy to make and taste delicious (I can email you my way of making them if you want) and WW toastie bread is just like the little Warburtons loaf in the orange packet but less fat and calories.

I'll let you know if I think of anything else! xx

Hi Ladies, can I join in too??
Sounds like you're all doing well, so could really do with the support!

I weigh 13st 8lb and would ideally like to get to 12stone. I'm 6ft and weight watchers suggest a lower weight for my height but I don't think its possible with my build! I've got to 12st before doing weight watchers online a couple of years ago but it was hard, to loose those last few pounds!

I've been doing the Davina Super Body workout but not changing my eating habits(which are terrbile at the moment!) so obv not lost any weight. Am going to start weighing myself on a Tuesday following the points on ww so fingers crossed!

I struggle most with lunch at work..I have no imagination to make something that I will look forward to eating. I've discovered that if I don't fancy it I won't eat it, which is really awful and it makes it too easy to go to the baguette shop and get something nice...bread is not my friend unfortunately!!

Hope we don't eat too many eggs over the weekend!

Looking forward to hearing how everyones getting on!
