Ok so I know that the other members of the wedding party and the parents all get their gifts during the speeches but when are you supposed to do the bridesmaids gifts. Some people have given them out during the speeches also but then some brides have given them to their bridesmaids before the service. I am trying to have my wedding as traditional as possible so not quite sure which is the right way around??
Any ideas girls??

i think with speaches is nicest as they would be left out of the gift giving outher wise x

I am going to give mine their main gift before the ceremony as i think it will be more personal, however i will probably get them a small token to hand out during the speaches.

i know this is an old post but i was thinking of buying jewellery for them to wear on the day, so does this mean i have to buy them another present?

soozie the other option is to just get them a thank you card to give during the speeches and give them the jewellery in the morning

when i was a bridesmaid i was given jewellery before hand (when we were getting ready) as it was bought to go with my dress. during speeches other gifts were given out, and i was thanked and it was mentioned i'd been given present earlier so i could wear it! so, in answer to qu, no don't think you need to give them another present!
in fact, think it must've been same with the best man as think he was given cufflinks.....
