We're going on a cruise around the caribbean for our honeymoon over Christmas and new year.
I was wondering if anyone else is doing something similar? We're going with Royal Caribbean! I'm so excited!
I know this should probably go on the honeymoon thread, but I'm more interested in people going at the same time than just the same place!

Ooh me I am! I'm going with Royal Caribbean too, a bit earlier than you though. I get married on the 4th December and we go on honeymoon on the 11th for 10 days, so get back just in time for Christmas. Which ship are you going on? I'm on Independance Of The Seas! x
We're going on Jewell of the seas! I'm so excited, I've never been to the Caribbean before and never done a cruise before and never been away somewhere hot for christmas and new year, and and and...!! It's all going to be so exciting!! Lol What kind of room are you having? We went for a balcony stateroom.
They have asked for proof that we are getting married so we can get the honeymoon treatment- have you provided evidence? What did you provide?

We are going for a Balcony Stateroom too! I've been on cruises before but never Royal Carribean, and have never had a balcony room before. Am ridiculously excited! How hot do you think it will be there? Cannot wait to be chilling out on the balcony in the sun!
We gave the travel agents our copy of the venue contract (they gave us back a photocopy) as proof of marriage. They haven/t actually told us what we get free/upgraded though, do you know? It's all very mysterious and excited, hope we get a flight upgrade! x

I heard something about a fruit bowl, bottle of champagne, photo & photoframe- maybe more, I think it's one of their romance packages on the website.
I really want the robes- I think that'd be a really nice memento from our honeymoon- matching Royal Caribbean robes!
Do you know if you need Visas or any Jabs? I guesss that could depend on stops, but are you getting any?

Doh! Didn't think to look on the website for clues! Will have a good look later. I am seriously excited about the prospect of matching robes!
The travel agent didn't mention anything about jabs or visas so I have asssumed there not needed but maybe I should check though just in case! x

getting marric=d in dec also, however going maldive for my HM, But I have just got back from a Royal carribean cruise for my summer hols- liberty of the seas, haiti, jamaica, mexico and grand cayman, was AMAZING you will have the most amazing time xxx
no visas neede, just an esta form for the states.
We're doing P&O around the Caribbean in Jan for our honeymoon on Ventura we're sooooo excited!

Hi Ladies Very exciting I have cruised with Royal Caribbean before and they are amazing value for money. We are going with RCL on 26th December to LA and picking up the ship there and heading down the west coast of Mexico to Cabo San Lucas (as featured many times in 'The Hills - I am sooo addicted) Matzalan (Matalan with a 'z' how funny) and then Puerto Vallarta and then we will be at sea for NYE. Back to LA 3rd Jan and a few nights there. There are 12 of us on the HM. Would have got married on the ship but H2B wanted the traditional do and it is driving me crazy!.
