How long did you have to wait to get a reply & some sort of congratulations from football clubs? Wanted to do this for my H2B but didnt want to do it too early in case of transfers/change of management but obviously didnt want to leave it too late either!! Some sort of general time frame would be much appreciated, thank you! xx

My Dad is getting married tomorrow and I emailed Spurs about a month and a half ago. The lady I spoke to said that she would send the letter close to the big day and it finally arrived today! Have to say I was getting a bit worried about it arriving in time! I think most clubs send out the letters just before the wedding.

It took about 3 weeks for my letter to arrive, but as I say I was quite disappointed with what I did receive xx

Hi lw4jd2002, have to say I thought the letter we got was a bit pony too! Just said congrats and thanked my Dad for his ongoing support and it was signed by Harry Rednap. My Dad was absolutely over the moon with it though and kept on asking me how I had arranged it, but he didnt know that you could get letters from Football clubs so I think he would have been impressed with anything! He went round all the tables showing them the letter, very chuffed with it so hopefully your H2B will be pleased with it too xx

6 days?? thats impressive! What did you get bk from Man Utd? I think H2B would be happy with just a letter like the girls have described, it'd mean enough to him that I put my feeling aside about the club to contact them to make him happy (hopefully)!! xx

i wrote to Newcastle United and gave them a wedding card to sign which i got back in like 3 days!!! it was signed by all the players, only wish i had waited now to get Alan Shearers on the card too

never mind!
oh i sent it at the end of Jan beginning of Feb thinking it would take ages, so its bn hiding for months in my wardrobe hehe! x

I emailed blackpool fc a couple of days ago asking if i sent a card to them if they could get the players and manager to sign it and send it back. I got a lovely friendly email back saying the team were away till the beginning of july but if i send the card theyll get the players to sign it before the wedding which is 31st july. Im so pleased my fiance is going to love it xx
