Just wondering if any of you have read Stepenies first outing into the 'adult' world of books?
Ive just finished it and adored it. I loved the Twilight series so i was looking forward to this and it didnt disappoint, in many ways i feel it's actually better than Twilight! It's been pipped as the 'sci fi novel for people who don't like sci fi' and that was certainly me. Aliens taking over the earth to me would have been a big no no but i gave it a shot and i adored it.
Anyone else read it??

Hi Mrs TIL I have also read The Host, and loved it too!
I adored the Twilight range, but was pleasantly surprised at the shift, in topic, and writing, in The Host. It is definitly pitched at an older audience, but still written fantastically.
I was alos of the opinion that sci-fi wasn't really my thing, but I found the book great reading.

lol angel_whip i was certainly torn whilst reading the twilight series but in the end Team Edward lol!

oooh so it is good, i have this on my reading list but with wedding 18 days away i'm trying not to get hooked to naything at the moment lol! limiting a cghapter a night to my septimus heap books!!!

My husband is a librarian Mrs Ward so i get all the new releases as soon as they come out, it's brill and then if i/we reallly like the book we buy it for our many book shelves lol!! xxx
Sorry to butt in ladies but i have been meaning to read The Host for a while now and this post has sealed it, i might treat myself over the weekend.

For me its got to be team Jacob, if anyone is interested there is some great fan fiction on Twilight Archives, im reading Breathe again by Ysar at the moment.

well i got to about chapter 3 and gave up, just cant get into it!! i might give it another go in a few months...
I loved the host, read it on holiday and actually dreamt about it got a while afterwords, it really played on my mind, so different!

I've just finished reading Vince and Joy by Lisa Jewell, and I loved it. But then I've loved all her books that I've read so far :\)
