Hi there smitten kitten! We live in Sidcup at the moment and my h2b is from a small vilage near Rochester. We've booked Cooling Castle Barn which has made life a little easier as so much is included in the price - dj, catering, toastmaster etc, but I am stressing a little about florists and the videographer - got any rocmmendations and do you think it's too soon yo start booking people?

you are right near to me i'm in Crayford. I went to look at Cooling Castle Barn in April but they were all ready fully booked for 2011
, i really liked that venue, very pretty. Me and my fiance are booked to get married at Creeksea Place in Essex, i absolutely fell in love with it http://www.creekseaplace.co.uk/ although it is an hours drive it is beautiful there. we are getting married on 16th July 2011, when are you getting married?
I don't think its too early to start planning, i am already trying on wedding dresses to get some ideas. x

If you need recommendations on florist,...choco fountain....Singers.... etc post and ill let you know who we used to give you some ideas!

We have just booked our date today! We are getting married on 3rd April 2011 at Cooling Castle Barn. It was very booked up though! Seems a popular place! We have a friend doing our photos so just really need to sort out flowers and cars, other than outfits etc. Seems a long time off but I guess it will come round quickly.

So good to know I'm no the only one from Kent. I am in Ashford. Hoping to look at a venue tomorrow, then should have a date I have one in mind but don't know if it's available.
H2B was born in Chatham, but lived in Bexley moved to Deal 3 years ago and is now in Ashford with me so he gets around lol

We looked at Cooling too, such a lovely venue but when we enquired in June all Saturdays from June-September were booked until 2012!!! Must be very popular. We ended up booking Turkey Mill at Maidstone and they only had 2 Saturdays left in 2011 (23rd July).
Oh and I'm in Bexleyheath.
Anyone going to Belle Amore in Bexleyheath? I have heard very good reviews!

I am from Bexleyheath too getting married in 2011 i am getting my dress in ring o roses in blackfen and have booked my chair covers with www.carterscovers.co.uk only £2 per cover and sash and she is keeping it this price as i have booked now but normally it will be £2.25 a cover which is still the cheapest i have found and they are based local too so may be worth booking asap to get it for £2. Havent got rings yet but my venue is Bexleyheath Marriott xx
