Table arrangements red white and black?

I need your help. We will have a black tie wedding and I would love to have a chic table arrangement and bridal bouquet in red, white and black. Preferably really dark red roses with something white and a black ribbon. Now, I have started to get comments that it is more of a funeral theme. What can I do to keep the colour combination, but still make it into a wedding feel?

I saw some beautiful black tie bouquets on the Martha Stewart site and they all contain black. Please give me your comments on this. I want to have an idea before I meet the florist. Thank you!

What about this: Black tie bouquet with dark red roses, some white flowers and a black satin ribbon. For table arrangement: white, black and champagne colours. How does that sound?

We're having black and white with red accent colours. We are having the table runner shown below, and then a mirrored cube mixed with red and very dark red (almost black) tulips for our centrepieces (no pics - sorry! just got the pic in my head!). No foliage on the tulips to keep it simple, and we're not having the mirrored plate that a lot of people stand their vases on - the cube will sit straight on the runner, and this way the pattern reflects in the cube itself. If the cube was on the mirror, the table runner was not reflecting so well. My bouquet is just going to be ivory roses and tulips - my BMs are having ivory tulips but wrapped in a red and white plaited ribbon. We're also having white chair covers with a black satin sash, and a red organza overlay over the satin - they look lovely!
